hi. I have a Vauxhall Vectra 2.2sri direct, it has lack of power and misfires. have changed coil pack and have been told it could be high pressure fuel pump. can anyone advise me as this car has already cost me a lot of money. many thanks

Either the clutch plate is worn out or the hydraulic actuating cylinder has no fluid to operate it.

check it the heater control is allowing hot water through the heater core.(turning the tap on )

Hello Tammy, Can you tell me a little history about the car before it stalled, such as you were driving and it stalled or was it sitting idling before it stalled. And something to check in the meantime is make sure the oil level is correct. VW, has a lot of issues with oiling. Thanks and look forward to hearing from you. Allen

Sounds like it was not flushed properly and bleed of air pockets. Many engines have bleed screws to bleed all the air out when refilling.
