Is there a fuel pump reset on a 01 TDI jetta ? I ran out of diesel AMD now it won't start

When diesels run out of fuel they fill the lines with air. To get it to start you have to bleed the air out of the system starting at the fuel filter pump and any where else there is a bleed screw. IF you have or can get your hands on a owners manual or a work shop manual for your car then the process and location of bleeders will be explained.

2001 Jetta Interior Climate Control Bulb

There is one bulb (for all three knobs) behind the center knob. Turn the knob to the straight up and down 12 o'clock position and pull the knob straight out. Wrap a soft cloth around the jaws of a pliers, that works the best. Pull the bulb out with a needle nose wrapped with a rubber band. The bulb is a sylvania 2721, available at most auto parts stores. You can also use a small piece of vacuum tubing to pull the bulb out. (pull straight out, don't twist it)

Engine light is on and the car will not accelerate, the tail pipe shakes and puffs

Check the trouble codes, and check that the catalytic converter is not plugging the exhaust up. If you bang on it and you hear rattling, it is probably bad. One way to verify is to run the engine with the converter disconnected from the exhaust. If it runs better, the converter is bad.

Water leak into driver footwell

Hi, I've had this problem and spent hours with my Wife watering the front scuttle area with the wipe mechanism removed. I hope at last I've narrowed it down to an area where the brake booster to attached to the firewall. Rather than take it out I've used a cleaning gun on a compressor and fired heaps (and heaps) or black soundproofing tarry solution down around, in and about the right side as you look from the front. Certainly at this stage the water running inside has decreased markedly and I've given it one last blast this morning. I'm optimistic this will cure.

Reset computer

If you pushed the car by the door itself or swung the door open hard, you could ha e stretched the door harness and pulled wires apart. There is a little accordian styled boot that 'protects, the wire loom leading to the driver door electronics. I wonder if you have noticed your alarm horn doesnt beep when locking the doors from the remote. Or you can only lock and unlock the driver door only from the driver door. If thats the case there may be an open in the wires leading to the door lock actuator; which controls things like lock/unlock functions of all doors and windows, door warning lights, etc. Have the harness repaired

2001 vw jetta no power to relay block

To the relay block under the hood? Yry cleaning connections. If you see white stuff built up on the metal that is corrosion, you gotta get that off. I imagine you are using a multimeter; trace the cables back to the battery (Is the battery dead?) and test everywhere you can along the way.

Does not start

Could be anything from a bad battery to bad fuel. Can you describe what happens when you try to start the car? Have you tried jump starting it? Do any of the other parts in the car work? Please add some more detail in the comments and we'll try to answer your question better.
