its located in the right front side behind your wiper fluid tank (IPDM)

Fuel gauge spun around and is now stuck below the empty mark.

2006 Nissan Maxima 3.5SL car

Something that you can check is to unplug the fans. There should be a connector that unplugs on each fan. Check for DC voltage on both fans. One fan should come on when you run the A/C and the other fan should come on when the car gets over 190 degrees. If you have voltage on both fan connectors, then the fans are bad.(very common on Maxima's) if you don't get any power to the fans then it is going to be the fan relays. The fan relays are under the hood next to the fuses. You can just swap the relays with the other relay to test the relays. More than likely one of the fans will run if the A/C is on. But this should help troubleshoot and find the problem.

I took my 2006 maxima to deler to get it reflash.I was told this car does not have a reflash. true or false

False every vehicle has a reflash. It is up to your dealer to have the required equipment and determine if you need a reflash.

Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

Possible Causes:CMP sensor signal circuit is open or shorted to ground.CMP sensor signal is shorted to VREF or system power.CMP sensor is damaged or has failed.PCM has failed.Could be your camshaft position sensor.Here's a link to where it's at,just enlarge picture.Here's what it look's like.
