The slave cylinder, which is present only on manual transmission automobiles, is located at the transmission bell housing, where it provides the hydraulic pressure-to-mechanical pressure conversion that actuates the clutch fork to disengage the clutch plate from the pressure plate.

ES Lancer - vibration, dull grinding noise when turning right, even at low speeds. Intensifies as I approach 30+mph. Replaced CV Axle, Tie Rod End, Bearing, and Hub. No dice.

Turning right and having a loader noise, means the left/drivers side is bad. Turn right, more pressure on the left side. and vice versa.

How do I know if the power steering pump gone bad?

First check fluid level in the pump. Then check for leaks under the stearing area. If you have a bad leak, the steering pump will never keep up. So it will be more than just the pump. Since you want to DIY, I recommend a repair manual from your favorite Auto parts store, or try filepeep.com if they have it, or manualslib.com You will want it next time anyway.

What is the cause of my lancer makes a scraping and or rubbing noise when turnning left

There is a limiting bolt usually on the idler arm of the car. The limiting nut must be poorly adjusted that your wheels are hitting the fender or body part. Check your wheels if they are properly installed. To check this, examine your tires, rims and fender where there are irregular signs of wear or scrubbing.
