In
your car Electronic Stability Program system included many different
sensors (yaw-rate sensor, steering angel sensor, body acceleration
sensor, some more) if ESP visit Workshop message appear on your
instrument display It's very hard to say witch sensor could be the fault
without right diagnose most common faults are either steering angel
sensor or yaw-rate sensor might be some other sensors if you replace
yaw-rate sensor it's need to be calibrate by diagnose computer, if
replace steering angle sensor it's need to do right way otherwise when
you tern steering wheel fully left or right it will brake at first time
then you have to be replace another one so I would like to advise you to get
right diagnose and repair buy Mercedes specialist if do some thing wrong
it's be more cost to you if you get right place to do it only you have
to pay once.
Int he back of the headlight, there is a plastic door. You need to open the little door by pressing a tab on the side to snap it off. So look for the tab first. If dust covers then it needs to be cleaned off for better observation. Once the door is open, you will see the a plug with wires attached to it. Pull the plug straightly out. There is a metal clip to hold the bulb in the place of its socket. Look carefully to see where the hook is, so you cant take off the clip from the hook. After the clip is released, the bulb can be easily taken off. Put a new bulb in, put back the clip, put in the plug, close the little plastic cover then you are done. Have fun.
Do you mean that the car overheats with a/c on.Can you hear the fan come on ? If the fin dosn't come on have the water temp control modual changed. hope this helps CJ
The indicator comes as a seperate part, which is quite expensive from dealer
To fit new part, involves removing glass etc,to gain access
Your local body shop, should be able to help,or local auto electrician
Hello. You dont need to take out the whole assembly, you should be able to get to the bulb after removing the rear cover for the light.
You may also have to push the metal clip towards the front of the car, and then push it to the side. Also, remove the female connector first.
if they are xenon, it's a dealer replacement, if not they just come off with a twist on collar on the back of the headlight assembly. simple plug an' play.

nobody can guess cars, you just tell firts what it is.
the car needs service, (CEL /SED lamp glows ) means that.
so get it serviced or learn to do that and buy the service manual to learn. tests.
tick over = idling. sure.
my guess it needs fuel and filters. (they are clogged)
2.0L diesel engine it is.
it needs to be scanned for sure.
a very expensive car!, so never serviced it?
You will need a compatible with Mercedes OBDII code reader to scan the car for any error codes.
If you can afford it, purchase one and it will pay off for itself after couple uses since dealer's diagnostic charge is $150-$200 in US.
Or you could go to official Mercedes shop and they will reset it for you.
