Mercedes electric front mirrors
Hi Gary, The cover is levered upwards (very gently) with a flat screw driver. Try from the front and rear to find out which side has least resistance. I believe you can solder the cable connections but they rarely need soldering as the unit uses a plug and socket. The problem will probably be inside the switch. Regards John

My 2006 Mercedes-Benz c230 doesnt beep when i lock and unlock it. How do i fix this problem?
Most remotes offer the option of 'silent' or audible operation and these are chosen with the remote itself via a combination of button presses. You'll have to consult the owner's manual for this on your car, I'm fairly sure the 3-button series of mine will not work with your system. I have mine set to only blink the lights instead of the horn sounding off.

Wipers won't work when stationary at lights only
The wipers on that vehicle work with vacuum, if the vacuum is low, (which it would be sitting at an idle) then the wipers will slow or even stop,, try reving the motor just a little to see if that improves the problem, if it does, Lube the mechanical portions of the wiper assembly ,,

I recently purchased a C180k
If the car is under warranty I would definitely make an appearance at the dealer. If the A/C is not working then they should check it. If the components are good and its low on freon then I would want to know why and whose going to fix the leak. Worst that can do is say no. With such low mileage though I would go ahead and make a scene if you know what I mean.
Worst case scenario they say its not covered, I would take it somewhere, or if you prefer the dealer I would pay to have them check it. If all it needs is freon they can leak check it, or if there is a component needed I would hope that its covered under warranty because they aren't cheap. Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks.

I had a flat battery on 2006 C220 merc this
yes and i couldnt cure it ,all fues and feed to radio were correct it had to be reprogrammed by dealer as somehow it wasnt being allowed to work from the ECU and you cannot fit a aftermarket one as remove the radio and the immobilisor comes on .So me being of the disposition that the dealer is using monopolist market tactics i fitted another radio with sd and usb in the glove box and it came with a remote so no problem ,a belson from the local supermarket for about 100 euros .Job done
