What can i do the fix this problem?the key of my c240 2003 won't turn.
Looks the RFDI chip in the key is defect. Your Mercedes car dealer should be able to help you with that.
Fist to make sure it is a chip problem in the key and second by replacing the chip and the code and / or replacing the battery it an empty battery is the issue.

yes,
This is a common problem, which only really can be repaired, by
Replacing the backlight unit. Often you see that it will go burn again and again stops working with warmer weather.
It will cost a couples of hundred euro.

Horn, wipers only work when can is off. help please
If you can give more details I could probably give you a better answer.
What specific c-class model?
Are you saying when the Car is off? or when the CAN Bus is off? Two drastically different statements.
Without more information - The electronic ignition switch can cause all kinds of weird problems like this and is a common problem.
Do you have access to any diagnostic equipment?
Anyway, I hope this helps.

Mercedes c200 kompressor 2003, engine
If the car is running fine, you may have a loose fuel cap...this will cause the engine light to come on due to the system not being able to pressurize the tank properly....tighten the fuel cap and it will go awy in a few days. If this does not solve the problem and the car is running fine and you have the radio code, simply disconnect the battery (negative cable), wait a few minutes and reconnect. You will have to enter the radio code to get the radio to work again. Good luck

Location of Mercedes 2003 C320 oil drain plug
This answer is completely wrong. The oil plug is under the car underneath the second plastic aero panel from the front of the car. Second, the 3.2 litre engine takes 8.5 quarts of oil and not 5 as this will be seriously under filled. Your compter display in your dash will tell you this when it beeps, turns red and reads, add more oil. It also alerts you when the oil has been overfilled because there is NO dipstick on this car. The only dipstick here is the one giving the wrong advise.

How do i check for oil ?
Look for the dipstick marked Oil. It is usually yellow or red. With the engine off, pull out the dipstick. Wipe the dipstick clean and place it back where you got it. Pull it out again and there is a set of marks on the end of the dipstick marked full and low. If the oil covers the low mark but not the full mark you're okay. If the dipstick is still clean then oil will need to be added until the oil appears on the dipstick between the marks. If you need further help, reach me via phone at

Epc malfunction
If it reads open circuit that means one of two things, either the wiring to the switch has become faulty or the switch itself is gone bad. I would replace the switch first, and replace the fuel filter if it hasn't been done recently too!

Transmission fluid and the transmission filter has to be replaced. Check the viscousity of the transmission fluid first, if its ok then check the fuses that control the gear shift, foremore, check the gear shift mode and change it ti 'E' instad of 'S', Hope this will solve the problem
