my radio wont come on. on the dash under audio there are 5 to 6 dashes underneath the word audio. dose that mean that I need to add a code number to those dashes and how do I do so ?

are all the bulbs original as some led bulbs send an error to the ecu causing it to show error if not take out bulbs clean terminals and spray with wd40 or equivelent might just be a bad connection

I don't know if there is a E240 but I will give you what I know. The following models- C230,C280,C43,E300,E320,E430,CL500,CL600,CLK320,SLK230 all get 19.7pints ATF fluid. S320 gets 17.0pints ATF fluid and models S420,S500,S600,SL500,SL600 all get 16.3pints ATF fluid. Hope this helps.

Trans' may be already full. The dip stick is attached to the trans' pan corner and out of the way of rotating parts.With engine idling, dip trans very quickly...fluid should be below lower mark if fluid is cold and just below the upper mark if warm.

Depending on how old the car is and how often you used it, you may not be able to release it. If you never really used it and you own an older car, sometimes the cable rust making it impossible to release once someone had pulled it.
