Power door locks stopped working

Try taking the central control panel loose and spraying the switch with WD-40 to see if that fixes your problem. If it has been used often it may have residue build-up on the contact points in the switch and WD-40 will make it work again. Your remote activates the main control button inside the car so I think this should solve your problem.

Ignition starter switch

You are having a problem with the anti-theft system. The transponder, inside the ignition key, isn't being correctly identified. Do you notice any lights on or flashing, on gauge cluster. You need to send the car to your local Mazda dealer, for diagnostics and repair. Let me know if this is what you were looking for and good luck.

I am at my wits end with my truck please help hesitation and heavy idle problems

I'm sorry for your problems but it seam you are just changing parts on a whim, could you tel me the idle rev speed. also when is the hesitating starting. there could be a few things wrong could be just down to a faulty wire. this simple. you say that when the fuel pump was changed the engine running was fine this could be down to the tank vent vale. you can save your self alot of money buy investing in a code reader you can buy them cheap online. other parts that can cause hesitating is leaking air line or lines on the engine. you can find these with a can of carb cleaner. get engine upto temp (normal running temp) then spray the can on the air lines, any change in engine revs or sound there is were the problem is. also spray around the manifold as this can cause the same problem you are having. hope this helps you

Well it could be a faulty sending switch, or the pressure really could be low. A mechanic would use a mechanical gauge to verify the problem. If it is low oil pressure, you may need another engine.

Sticking handbrake

Has the vehicle drum brakes? Has the brake stuck because the vehicle has been parked for a while? If yes, the linings have just stuck to the drum, sometime just reversing the car will be enough to release it. If not remove rear wheels and bang the face of the drum with a hammer, Failing that the drums will have to come off by any means. (Slide hammer). Good Luck

It has a timing belt. There's a Youtube on how to replace the timing belt for a 2002 Subaru Forester, if you're a self do'er. Your 2001 should be similar or exact to it.
