Car non start maybe cold battery
There are several things that few people know about starting cars in cold weather. 1. Check your battery to make sure it is not rusted, leaking, and has a charge 2. Jump start your battery with another car, even if you believe the battery is good, this often times will still start your car. 3. If your engine is cold, and you have an older car, ensure to get your fuel lines to the engine flushed or have fuel injection service performed 4. The engine tends to warp the same way wood does during the extreme cold, do not be afraid to continue trying to warm up the engine by constant cranks with it is cold out. Your not going to hurt the car, the worse that could happen is too much fuel will enter the carborator and cause flooding in the system to occur. Wait 20 minutes if this happens and start to crank again 5. Bad spark plugs are a major reason why many cars take a very long time to start 6. Please have your spark plugs removed and exchanged for new ones. Over time, spark plugs become fowled and prevent the car from starting even thou you hear cranking!!
2003 sierra gauges not working plus dash plus drains my battery any suggestions ?
Try this simple trick. Shut off every thing in your vehicle, radio, ac, lights, windshield wipers etc.Turn off the vehicle put it in park. Disconnect your battery , wait 5 minutes. Then Without turning any thing on leaving the vehicle in park reconnect the battery start the vehicle and let it Idle for approx 10 minutes. This allows your computer to reset all of your gauges. By assuring that everything is off your computer can concentrate on resetting everything correctly without missing a step . This will set your Idle and all of your Gauges. Whenever your battery is disconnected for what ever reason this step should be followed immediately upon reconnect.

Try some injector cleaner in order to see if the lean condition improves. Lean conditions can sometimes be caused by o2 sensors or other sensors that are not within specifications.
Replaced altnator but still not charging
Did you have the new one tested when you bought it? If you buy the part from a parts place like Advance or Auto Zone you should always have it tested if possible because your getting re-manufactured parts 99% of the time. If its bad they will replace it again no problem as they have for me. Or it could be wiring problem, make sure you have good connections at all points and free of corrosion. Also have battery tested if you haven't already. There used to be a method to find out battery or alternator, crank up car, remove the battery. If it runs, battery problem. If it dies, alternator problem. Not sure if it still works with newer cars though.
