My 2006 Buick LaCrosse is saying charging system failureso I replaced a new alternator and new battery.the message came up on the dash again charging system failure...what does this mean what do I do?

This could be a bad connection. First step is to clean your battery connections, then work your way through the wiring. Common places are the starter connections, and body ground connections.

I have a broken bolt, the top most of the three, that holds the thermostat housing assembly to the engine block. what is the best or easiest way to extract that piece of the bolt from the block?

You will probably need to drill a hole down through the center of the bolt and remove it with a bolt extractor. Use a very reputable brand which will be more expensive. You do not want to break the bolt extractor off in the hole because that will be triple trouble.

Front strut replcement 2006 buick lacross

Jack up and support the vehicle on the sub frame. Remove the wheels. Unbolt the strut to knuckle bolts. Unbolt the strut mount from the strut tower (3 13mm head bolts) Remove the strut assembly. It your replacing with "quick struts" reinstall and have the alignment done. If your just replacing the strut you will need to bring the old strut assemblies to a shop to have the springs compressed. Once the springs are compressed the strut nut can be removed from the strut and the strut can be replaced. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE THE STRUT NUT FROM THE STRUT WITHOUT COMPRESSING THE SPRINGS. YOU WILL HURT YOURSELF. I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/jeremy_d728a59f986299fa

Need more guide to remove heatercord on 2006 buick lacross

You sound like someone who is handy and wants to do the work him/herself. Unfortunately, the job you are undertaking is way too complex to explain here. There are many panels/screws/connectors to remove and replace. You need a written instruction guide with pictures to aid and assist. I recommend you get a Haynes manual at a local auto parts seller for your car. It will provide detailed instructions on what you are trying to do. It will also inform you if there are any steps that you cannot do, such as evacuating the refrigerant from the A/C system as is required to access the heater cores on some vehicles. Don't get yourself in over your head and find out you're stuck.

From what I can tell, it looks like u have to remove the whole glovebox door which entails removing the lower dash panel on the passenger side.. That should give u access to screws to remove glovebox door. Don't tug on the door when u remove screw's, just enough space to get ur hand or something else up inside to unlatch.. If u need further info, let me know
