Is this a 4 way or 6 way connection system? If your truck is wrong, then all factory equipped trailer package harnesses would be wrong, tell your trailer guy...I don't think so.
Is this the first trailer you have hauled?

it mite be your radiator... need to flush it or change it

its making my truck die - What does that mean? Is the truck's engine shutting down while it is running, or is the battery being drained such that the engine will not start? Is the radio ON even when the ignition switch is turned off? Your radio power wire may be connected to a point that is always on instead of to a point that is controlled by the ignition switch.

Catalyst System Low Efficiency Bank 2 As the code description implies the P0430 code means that the vehicle's control module has detected that the three-way catalytic converter is not working properly (is not as efficient as the factory is expecting). Replacing the oxygen (O2) sensors may sometimes fix the code, but in most cases the catalytic convert needs to be replaced to fix the problem. If the P0430 code is combined with other codes, try fixing the other codes first. could also be vacuum leak or exhaust leak

Throttle body may be defective. The idle control valve is built into the assembly.

Check your connections to the battery and then i would check to see if a fuse has blown.

I'm not sure if a fuse controls it all... but i am certain that when it doesn't work that the cause is a broken headlight switch or damaged wires leading to it. If the switch is ok then the alternative is the ignition needs to be replaced.

I found the pesky little micro bulbs. They are intrument twist lock led found them at this site
