Sound's like you might have blown the motor but don't worry first check the oil to make sure that it is not grey colored if it is then you have water in it that is a blown motor but check the starter to make sure that it is working and that the engine is not locked up you can do this by turning the fly wheel from the starter but you have to remove the starter so that you can get to it if the fly wheel turn's then the motor is not locked up you might have to just replace the starter

hi if you mean every time you stop the car by key and the car will only keep going if the key is in the start position this is a fault that lies in the low tension circiut on your ignition as a secondary circiut with a ballast resistor runs ignition live feed to the coil when the key is in start position these are now normally in the ignition coil it will need replacing

Make sure battery has a full charge and connections all good. You have to test when problem is ongoing. If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. Check fuel injector pulse. let us know what you find?

Check your fuses underneath the drivers side steering wheel. Flip the plastic cover over and there will be a diagram showing the fuse that controls the taillights/stoplamp. Pull the fuse out and replace it with the same number fuse and your taillights and brake lights will work again. If the fuses are ok, pull each taillight bulb out and replace it with a new bulb. Sometimes when one light bulb fails, all of them will fail.

The torque convertor clutch solenoid is inside the transmission. It is behind the lh transmission cover plate. Not exactly an easy fix for someone. A decent garage should charge you about $400-600 to replace, Beware- they will probably try to sell you a whole transmission overhaul!!

I assume you have a digital dash. You need to check the car's owners manual to see if that's possible for your particular vehicle (they are available online).
