If it opens from the outside, check on the door itself near the latch assembly for a little black lever that moves back and forth...that is the child safety rear door lock and when engaged, wont allow the door to open from the inside...setting the lever to free position should allow door to open (pg 3-5 of owners manual) https://owners.infinitiusa.com/content/manualsandguides/FX/2008/2008-Infiniti-FX4535.pdf

Do you hear the front or back? could be suspension bad bushings trailing bars may have to replace. Linkage or something ales.

remove positive battery cable from battery an let sit for 30mins then reattach

if you have an electronic key (proximity key with push button ignition, or the key that is just a plastic stick that goes into a slot to turn) the chimes could be a notification that the car is detecting a low battery in your key. I'm not very familiar with Infinity but there are several cars with these types of keys that give some kind of chime or light indication when the electronic key battery is getting low... If you have one of these keys it would be a good idea to have the battery checked/changed just to be sure, if the battery dies or gets too low the car wont start.

Wiring. Check the wires at the speed sensor first. Wires tend to break with in an inch or so by the plug. A lot of times right at the back of the plug. with intermittents like yours, the first thing I do is replace the plug and about 6 to 8 inches of wire. Takes care of about 70% of problems.

This part is available at your local Infiniti dealer. The plastic part is replaceable.

what a load of twaddle ,only regulation is two tyres the same make on the same axle with the same tread pattern ,for the annual mechanical inspection .Some of the things some of these garages come out with make me want to puke ,no wonder i have no money or a new car perhaps iam too honest no wonder people refer to the motor trade as thugs

to tow with front off the ground on rear wheel drive, make sure the drive shaft is disconnected. Then you can tow as far as you want

buy upgrade brakes, the stock tires will do the job, a simple upgrade that helps is vented/drilled disk brake rotors, from there u cqan install big brake kits but they are very pricey, into the $1000's

It might be a good idea to google "auto salvage" and find a used one.. These salvage yards are all over the country and will ship either to you or your body shop.. Sometimes no shipping charges..
Then get te door painted to match..

The knock sensor is on the back side of the engine near the trans. It is round, with a 1 wire connector. You will have to get it from underneath. Good Luck.
