What engine ? Could have a relay or could have a fuel pump flow control module ? Two different set up's ! What is the RPO # (LY6) This one has a relay , and it would be in the under hood fuse / relay box . Would be maked on the inside of the fuse box lid . The one with the fuel pump flow control module will have two fuse's in the under hood fuse box 21 & 56 #21 FSCM 20amp fuse & 56 ECM- IGN. 15amp. . I know the one with the fuel pump flow control moduel has problems because of where they put it , under the vehicle near the fuel tank . Water an road salt an corrosion ,caused damage .

The brake light switch is an input to the BCM - body control module , do you know about BCM'S - electronic module ? Stop Lamps When the driver presses the brake pedal, the switch contacts open and battery positive voltage is interrupted to the BCM. The BCM then supplies voltage to both the turn/stop lamp supply voltage circuit and trailer rear turn/stop lamp supply voltage circuits. The BCM also supplies voltage to the CHMSL though a dedicated circuit. could have DTC'S stored in the BCM DTC B3445 00: Stop Lamp Circuit Circuit/System Description The stop lamp switch is used to sense the action of the driver application of the brake pedal. The body control module (BCM) provides a low reference signal and a B+ reference voltage to the stop lamp switch. When the stop lamp switch contacts close indicating the brakes have been applied, the BCM will apply battery voltage to stop lamp relay control circuit and the center high mounted stop lamp (CHMSL). When the stop lamp relay receives battery voltage from the BCM, the relay coil is energized and the stop lamp relay switch contacts close applying battery voltage to the STOP LAMPS fuse to illuminate the left and right stop lamps. Look behind your brake pedal under the dash. You will see a plunger switch that goes in when you push the pedal down. It is stuck. wiggle the plunger and WD40 it and move it in and out. Hope this helps Mike

so what you mean is it wont turn over? do the lights dim in the start mode of ignition switch? sounds like a few hard taps on the starter and maybe it will turn over,, might be you have a bad starter.

you can get a charge kit through your local auto part store to recharge the ac. you want one that has a leak sealer in it.
