If it works with out the bearing sensor being plugged Leave it. You may get ABS codes/light, but you still have brakes. Just not anti lock. The steering module is bad. You have already proved it, You unplug it, It works. Plug it in, it is bad. It is shorted out in side the computer. I just did a diesel engine, Called the computer after 30 minutes. Owner of the diesel said it wasn't. Reached up and pushed a solenoid for fuel shut off. I told them all, it just proved my point, The computer is supposed to do this. They replaced the solenoid, still no start.

When you changed the BCM you basically disabled the car, the Key will have to be reprogrammed to the cars immobilizer, that is if the immobilizer is still good, If the BCM shorted (Burnt) out, it could have affected other components in the car. I would let the dealer run a diagnostic on the car. They may be able to reflash the ECM / BCM and immobilizer or they may have to replace them.

Could be your temp sensor needs replacement or your wiring has been damaged. You should get a OBD II computer tester that plugs in under the drivers dashboard. Never plug in or unplug with the key in the ignition. After the tester has booted then turn your key. You could have multiple error codes and guessing is really a long way and very expensive. Best get some solid clues to follow and good proceedures as you can cause more problems messing with things. buy a Haynes repair book if it goes into computer codes. If not buy Chiltons or better yet a manufacturers repair manual for that model. Try the public library as they may have all the books you need.

Lube the locks and check your settings in the control panel to make sure they did not get changed to not allow the remotes to work

Thermostat might be sticking. Try replacing that

I had a similar problem with my driver's door on my 2009 CTS. It would work sometimes, then finally not at all. The key fob wouldn't work, nor the electric switch inside. It could only work manually or with the key. Mine ended up being the lock/latch actuator inside the door. I got one on e-bay and replaced it myself. $150? Probably a $300+ job at the dealer. There were a bunch of them on ebay. This is a clue that there is a real problem with these. It'll look something like this:

Did you check fuses or relay in your engines fuse panel?

not really because you have not exactly said what was burnt or what the current symptoms or codes are. If you want help we will need as much information as possible as to the make is, engine size what was burnt, what repairs were carried out--all that sort of stuff that you will have told your mechanic when the problem occurred.

If the check engine light is on, you may want to check for a engine misfire code which cause the engine to "skip".

I suggest you read your vehicle handbook. Many answers are to be found there. Failing that there is bound to be a forum specialising in Cadillac. There are a couple of tyre pressure monitoring systems in use and they do need resetting sometimes with dedicated equipment. One of those systems needs a reset every time a tyre is changed.

your stabilitrak is turned off, switch it back on and the light will go off. its clearly listed in your owners manual if you would of bothered to read it

Using a multimeter, check if you have voltage at the socket with the lights on. If you have voltage (12vdc), I'd suspect a bad bulb. Using a multimeter with the lights off, you can also check for continuity of the bulb, wiring, & switch.

Sounds like you need a reputable mechanic with a good code reader to check it out. It could be an O2Sensor, I would almost bet on that one, but could be many other sensors as well. O2 sensors emit low voltage signals and if one is weak or bad it will act like the Cat is bad. make sure the wires are plugged in all the way, possibly one is loose from when they installed the new cat. Hope this helps. Hard to diagnose with out the vehicle here to hook up my code reader to.

You have to manually stop the hazards with the switch. It doesn't matter if the keys are in it or not. That's normal.
