well it can still be anything, locating a steering/suspension noise can be hard. Based on what you typed, what first comes to mind is the steering pump is worn out. If it is more of a low whining sound instead of squeaking, its probably the steering pump.

I have never seen one. The hood is grounded the the hinges. If you have a hood light, it has it's own ground wire.

both seats? if only one seat could be a bad switch.

Does it try to crank, or is there no response when you turn the key? If it tries to crank but can't turn over it is probably the battery, and might be the starter. If it is close to cranking, make sure the headlights and air conditioning are off when you try to start it. If the battery is dead you can get a jump or take it to an auto parts store to have it charged, most will do it free (autozone for one). If the car still won't start after getting a jump or a new battery, it is likely the starter. If there is no response at all when you turn the key, I'm not sure. Check the fuses. Maybe the fuse or relay going to the starter is blown. Maybe there is some advanced security feature like an RFID key that has failed.

Time to take it into the dealer for service.

Could be any number of sensors causing the check engine light to come on. Could be as little as a bad gasket on the gas cap causing it. You have to take the vehicle to a garage that does the tests for this and have them check for the code that caused it.

have you checked the fuses , drivers side lower dash fuse box list shouldbe on the lid/cover
