2007 Honda Civic GX NGV Sedan - Page 6 Questions & Answers
Honda code P0A7F
I have a 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid and have had hell with it. I have also learnt much about it too.
One thing bad about the HCH2, is that the 12V battery controls the electronics, and the Hybrid battery charges the 12V battery. However the 12V battery is not charged all the time, and cannot be charged when the IMA is usually being used, and in different scenarios. (Buy a Electronic volt meter which plugs into the 12V adapter $14 Walmart))
It is possible that the 12V battery is being drained while driving and caused a voltage drop which can cause your problem. In your case, I would change the 12V battery anyway as they do not last long on Hybrids. (You may have to get Honda to trip the IMA warning lights.) In my case, changing the 12v battery helped the hybrid battery as it was the electronics reporting the charge level wrong.
Depending where you live, you will have a minimum 80,000 mile warranty on the hybrid battery.
How to disable the alarm of honda civic 2007
On Accord - it does the same thing, but the solution is simple, don't
hit the button the second time! It locks with just one push, the lights
should blink to tell you. You don't need to push it twice if you don't
want the horn to beep.
If the problem continued, You need to go to the honda dealer; factory alarms are wired into
alot of the electrical systems, so, hard to bypass unless you have a
wiring diagram.
Hope helped (remember comment and rates this) TY for using Fixya.
My 2007 Honda Civic Coupe shakes when turning left
With the low miles, I would tend to believe it to be a tire balance issue rather than a real mechanical problem in the front end. That is unless the car has been run into a curb or hit a big pothole. I hope this helps.
Vibration of vehicle when slowing down or coming to a stop
sounds like your brake rotors are severely warped, get them replaced. since its a 2007 im gonna guess your mechanic has never done them on your car yet, you might still be using the original rotors your car rolled out of the factory with.
How often do I need to replace the timing belt in
The timing belt connects the camshaft to the crankshaft, which makes
sure that the valves all open at the correct time and the spark ignites
at the right time. If your belt snaps, it will do serious damage to
your engine.
So please change it every 90,000 miles.
Honda Civic 2007 Civic . Cahange wheel bearing and
sorry to tell you this but it sounds like the wheel bearing was put in backwards on one or both sides. the front wheel bearings have a black speed ring built in and that is what your speed sensor reads off. - this is common as the front bearings will install either way- hope this helps
