Idle speed is probably too low. Most cars with electronic engine management automatically increase the engine speed when idling to compensate for the extra load of the air con. Unfortunately, with this type of engine management, a lot of cars don't allow you to manually increase the engine idle speed. It has to be programmed in at a Dealers with the correct tuning equipment.

From there, it sounds as though the nob wasn't the only thing you broke. It sounds as though you disconnected the position sensor. (don't know the specifics for Nissan/Infinity on how they structure their sensor, if it's a physical lever or what, but it should just be a matter of reconnecting it. It's most likely going to be beneath the console/shifter, rather than on the physical transmission itself.

A fuse would have been my guess, too. Wal-mart has fuses for sale, and they're only a couple bucks. GOOD LUCK

I had the same problem with mine. Just got off the phone with the dealership. Really easy fix. Your car is still in transport mode. Put your blinker and windshield wiper arms all the way to the down positions. There may also be a white fuse down by the kick panel that isn't pushed in all the way. Push that in as well. Then start the car. Your clock will then work (at least mine does now).

is the only thing not working the cigarette lighter? the fuse that operates it is usually the accessories fuse, it normally operates the interior light as well, which fuse box have you checked,there is most likely one under the bonnet & there also may be one under the dash as well, it might well be that the cigarette lighter element is the problem,try another lighter....hope this helps....cheers

Easiest way is to unhook the battery on your vehicle and leave it unhooked for a couple minutes. All the codes will be erased and the light will go off. If the issue is still going on that initially caused the light to come on, it will come back on though.

If your vehicle has a info button which it should, you would press the info button repeatedly until you reach the oil change, oil filter and tire rotation intervals. Once you reach the oil change you should be able to press enter and then toggle down until reset is highlighted and then press enter again. Same thing for the other maintenance intervals. The analog clock has little buttons on the face to move the time forward or back. If your FX has NAVI hit the setting button then choose CLOCK. If it doesn't have NAVI hit the menu button and scroll down to the clock setting.

most maintenance includes fluid change/or top off /grease job and a general inspection of vehicle. considering your in Alaska the cost is a lil higher there than in the lower 48. A fair estimate would be between 30 and 70 dollars

It has a timing chain.

First check the accesory fuse.

Most likely it is either the fuel level sending unit attached to the fuel pump or the stand alone unit (there are two sending units, both located in the tank), or, as counter-intuitive as it seems, it could be the speedometer assembly. Personally, I lean toward the latter.

If it's spraying out of the spout and is boiling, it's very possible that one of the head gaskets blew depending on how long it takes to overheat. A few things to look for: Inspect the radiator. Make sure all of the cooling fins are there, and not obstructed by dirt/debris. Make sure the cooling fan is turning on (it should turn on when the temperature is approximately at the halfway point of the temp gauge). Look at the color of the "smoke" coming from the tailpipe. White = steam. Some steam is normal, however, if it's constant, and a lot of it, it's a blown head gasket indicator. Blue = burning oil. Black = unburned fuel,

sounds like a bad thermostat its stuck shut causing overheat and no hot air in the car make sur to bleed air out of cooling system after replacing cooling system

Is your stereo fuse been shared with the lighter,if so then disconnect lighter and see if that solves the problem.What year is your car?I could look it up and see if it is,my Nissan shares the same fuse.
