It doesn't have one Controlled by smart junction box . The smart junction box (SJB) monitors the multifunction switch position by sending multiple voltage reference signals to the multifunction switch. When the multifunction switch is in the LH or RH TURN positions, or the hazard lamp switch is pressed, that input signal is routed to ground. When the SJB receives a request for a turn signal or hazard lamps, the SJB supplies voltage to the appropriate turn lamps. The timed on/off cycle is determined by the SJB and is set to flash approximately 80 times per minute if both the front and rear turn lamps operate correctly. If an individual turn signal lamp is inoperative, the SJB flashes the remaining turn lamp approximately 160 times per minute.

the switch is located in the overhead console.

loose exhaust part or something to do with the running gear is the best you want to find other wise could be a tranny problem ,so start with checking the oil/fluid level and take it from there

I must mention that engines with the DOHC emblem had a problem with "Cam Phasers". These would rattle and knock very similar to a Diesel and the noise would fade at about 2000RPM. This engine has 2 timing chains. Since the Camshafts are on top, the lifters are under the cam. You would need to remove the cam to access the lifters. You will need to keep the cam gear positioned or lose the mark. There are cheater tools which allow you to sneak the cam gear away from the head to change the Cam phasers. The cam phasers can then be removed. This is perhaps as much as you need done. I retired before this style of engine was built, so I can not tell you if the Camshafts can slide forward to be removed once you remove the Phasers and gear. Otherwise you are looking at a full frontal disassembly, just the Cam Phasers alone required full frontal disassembly in the original Service Manual. You can read more about this engine and find Videos on the Web. I have an Engineering print but an assembled engine may have clearance issues. Wish I could be of more help, but you can get quite a rattle from the Phaser issues. Don't blame the wrong part.

This is saying your gascap is not on tight or there is a leak in the tubing for the Emissions system.If tightening the cap does not help, then a device called a "smoke machine" must be hooked up to your car to find the leak. You would need to call to find a service place possessing such a machine. Then it is a simple matter of fixing the leak.

Key ignition key has a chip in the key, if the chip does not match the signature the car is looking for, it will not start - this is an anti-theft feature. The key can be programmed from one of your other keys, or by the dealer.

Maybe you need tune up,fuel filter,check air filter.

That is security sign.Try locking and unlocking the drivers door.

You have a blown bulb or bad wire to the bulb. Do both sides act the same or just one side? (Left and right turn) If only one side (Left) then only check that side.

have your air pump checked out and also your air bag suspension

did lift gate get repaired ? warranty ? what was replaced? $ cost to customer?

You have to be specific about the engine turning over

That is done by the starter circuit

If your ac doesnt shut off when you press the switch then you have a bad switch that will need to be replaced. You can go to your local auto parts store and tell them the on/off switch for the ac unit is the part that you need. IT should only cost a few dollars depending on where you live.

actuate it & diagnose the problem,as everything
today is controlled by electronic modules

don live in the real world, that suspension is never going to work right again. you are going to spend a ton of money, and no matter what you do something else will go wrong. big mercs, lincolns, BMW, caddies, land rovers, etc all sit in the same saggy swamp. there are still thousands of collapsed Peugeots sitting in barns since the 1970s across the land waiting for a real suspension fix.

take a long look at www.strutmasters.com and consider junking the air or hydraulic suspension system and trading up to a real one with springs and shocks.

P1260 that is anti theft code, The definition is Theft detected,vehicle immobilized, Your going to have to bring in a mobil locksmith in and have immobilizer reset. Or try this put the key in the ignition and turn it to the ACC 3 times fast and leave the key in for at least 10 minutes. Then try to start the vehicle because there is a possibility the ant theft will accept the keys agian. by the way youll always have this problem it always fails to accepts its own keys

I have a 2004 Lincoln LS, that the dealer brought
in a seat specialist 3 times. Never worked more than 8 months
I only went there under warrantee

I have to pull the seat out, if it ever gets warm

We went throught 3 under seat blowers, and I have gone
through service bulletins,work shop manuals,nothing.

All Lincolns ,and big Ford suvs have the same issues
from 2003 on, as far as I know.

I will help a lot of people, when I figure it out.

The dealer as I said, bring in people,I guess they
don't have time or knowledge to deal with it.
