Do you have one of those washers that wants to wsh the whole car for yu when you only need the window done? I am thinking it is in the switch that you push or turn to make it squirt. I will venture a squirt of WD 40 in the switch will solve this problem? Just something you can try, Please give me a good thunbs up for the guess if you please. I need the good marks, Let me know if it worked, Raz

Can't help much on a cure but that code translate into this:

Another lousy problem related to electronics. You might ask a chain auto parts store to reset this code (most scanners have that function) to see if it returns.

These cars are known for the sound system amplifiers going out. That is what produces the sound. Check for blown fuses and if they are all ok you may need a new amplifier

press the load button in and select what number slot to have your cd placed into. the player will lite up showing a message to load it

Should be some specks on ohms you can perform without having the motor running. I just did one on a Nissia Maxima. Had the same prob...Check it with a ohm meter !!

Most GM V6 , the right front is number #1 so that makes the #5 the back right.

The black box to the right...is where the air filter is located...Just unhook the clamps, and open the box, and the air filter will slide out...here are two pics..One of the box inside the motor, and one of what the air filter should look like...

Test the neutral safety switch by doing the following steps.

1)foot on brake
2)turn key to on position
3)shift lever to neutral (N)
4)start the engine
5)shift the lever to Park (P)

If the engine can start at N and not at park then it's the neutral safety switch.

1. Turn the ignition to RUN with the engine OFF.
2. Press and release the reset button in the driver information center (DIC) until the OIL LIFE message is displayed.
3. Once the alternating OIL LIFE and RESET messages appear on the DIC display, press and hold the reset stem until several beeps sound. This confirms the OIL LIFE system has been reset.
4. Turn the key to lock. If the CHANGE OIL message comes back on when you start the engine, the ENGINE OIL LIFE system has not reset. Repeat the procedure

CTS are very sensitive to problems with the hose between the air filter box and the intake. If it is not on good or leaks, it will cause the car to run rough, or die immediately after starting.

Your car should have a timing chain not a timing belt.

The filter is located in the air box, just ahead of the throttle plates..., you have to release clamps and open the box. DO NOT force it. Sometimes it is a little like a puzzle...

Check neutral safety switch and security system

sounds like your balancer may have come apart. it shouldn't move at all. to move it you have to make the crankshft turn. i had this happen on a truck once. it made some strange noises, then it started vibrating pretty bad. i shut it off, took me a while to figure out what it was. most of them are actually 2 piece and have a key slot, (a grove cut in both pieces that a piece of metal sits in to keep them turning at the same time). it sounds to me like you need to replace it. it can take some serious effort & tools to replace.

that has to be done by the dealer

there is no repairing the supercharger if it has lost all of its oil or one of the shafts is broken all you can do is get a new unit
