A blown fuse does not create a draw, it makes an open circuit. You need to do some trouble shooting to find the source of the draw. An alternator can be a source of a power draw, or a light left on such as a map light or vanity light.

No - new or not, the regulator in the alternator is not working properly.

Don't take it off. That is the best thing you can do. I used to work for an auto glass company and every time we tried to remove GM antenna's they would break. If you absolutely need to remove it then remove the whole assembly. Base and all.

Most likely there is an issue with the parking brake cable. Replacing the cable shouldn't be too expensive.

Check your wheel speed sensors for proper operation and for metallic debris, make sure your reluctor ring is in working order and not damaged, if all that appears to be in order, then check it with a diagnostic computer. usually it is a failed WSS (wheel speed sensor) if it is part of a wheel bearing assembly then it is possible you have a failed or failing wheel bearing

Your engine has an electronic throttle body. They don't use an idle air control valve. They control idle by cracking open the throttle plate electronically. Door jam switch is faulty

Check the fuse block for a blown fuse. There may be a solenoid inside the transmission that finally gave up. Look for poor electrical connections on the wire harness at the transmission and finally, the transmission control module may have failed.

Probably need to replace the multifunction switch.

Michael, this job requires special tools. You need to recover the refrigerant. But your big issue will be removing all of the moisture from the system, after the compressor surgery. System oil is another major concern. As per directions, measure that you remove from the compressor. Adjust accordingly. Meaning for example, (Random values, check specs for your system) if you were to have 4 oz of oil in the compressor, but you find only 3 oz (measured!), you are not down 1 oz. The entire system is 25% low on oil. Adjust accordingly. No biggie, but if you are not aware of these things, you will introduce moisture into your system, which will react negatively with the metal parts of the system, causing costly damage. Always replace the receiver/dryer when you open an A/C system. (it has oil in it, too...) Really, dollars and cents, this job might want to be done by a trained professional. Sounds like you've got two different problems, because the brake lights and turn signals are on different circuits. 1. Brake lights. These should work whether the engine is on or off. Check fuse box for a blown fuse. If OK, check for voltage at one of the lights with the brake pedal depressed. If no voltage, brake light switch under dash probably bad. Fairly easy replacement. 2. Flashers/turn signals. The flashers should work with the engine on or off. If they don't, might be a bad fuse. If that doesn't fix it, might be a problem with the wiring connected to the turn signal switch, or the switch itself.
