Replace ignition switch with used ignition
The car's computer needs to be programmed to accept the key you're using with the replacement switch. There is a chip in each key, and if the computer doesn't recognize the chip, it will not allow the car to continue to run. As far as I know, only the dealer can reprogram the computer, and it may not be cheap.

My windshield wipers aren't working! HELP!!!
sounds like the switch if you have to turn on and off 10 times. A voltage meter connected to the plug that goes to the motor would confirm the switch or a possible blown fuse that is broken and touching and then breaking . Again a volt meter would confirm this.
A light probe 12V could be used instead of a voltmeter to test this.

Will not start. Act like it wants to crank keeps getting ticking noise
Sounds like a starter or battery fault. If the battery is low, there is enough power to operate the starter solenoid but not the starter, so you get the click of the solenoid only (Charge battery or jump start). Same thing, the starter motor is not turning, but the solenoid is clicking (replace starter). Another possibility check all earth connections ie: battery to chassis, chassis to engine. if high resistance could give same symptons.
