how do i reset the tpms on a 08 implala SS after a tire rotation, without a owners manual
You have two minutes to match the first tire/wheel position, and five minutes
overall to match all four tire/wheel positions. If it takes longer than two minutes,
to match the first tire and wheel, or more than five minutes to match all four tire
and wheel positions the matching process stops and you need to start over.
The TPMS sensor matching process is outlined below:

how to replace 2008 impala heater core
Most heater cores are located behind the dashboard. This can be a difficult job putting it back together. Be sure it really is the heater core. ie water on the floor boards, the smell of antifreeze inside the cabin.Steamed windows all indicate the heater core.

I have had this problem for a couple of months took it in twice and they run the check engine but found nothing wrong. The lights went off and came on again and trully the engine reduces power like you are pressing the brakes. I could feel that. Scarry as I was driving on the freeway with my precious children with me. How do we solve this issue?
Engine power reduced
problem is the main culprit ! This has to do with the electronic throttle control system . Computer controlled throttle control . The Gas pedal assembly has position sensors as does the throttle body . These are inputs to the PCM/ECM - engine computer . By the signal from the gas pedal the PCM / ECM will control a DC electric motor on the throttle body ,opening an closing the throttle plate .When there is a problem with this system the check engine light comes on and the PCM/ECM will disable traction control an that light will be turned on etc..... These problems can be very tough to find . How much are you willing to spend to track down this problem . Need special tool's to find these problems . Electrical test scope (lab scope ) . Over time these parts wear an the PCM will see conflicting signals . Sometimes the part needs to wear out to find the problem . Have the repair shop keep the vehicle till they find the problem .

Car won't crank and locks won't work.
The security, antitheft or lock picture/icon is a visual indication that something in the car's antitheft system is failing. In most GM cars and trucks there is a hidden system that most people are unaware even exists. From the moment you put your key in the ignition, there begins a constant line of communication between your key's security chip or transponder, to the ignition's lock cylinder, and then to the car's TDM (Theft Deterrent Module). These 3 parts are in CONSTANT communication. If the key is in the ignition, then these parts are sending signals to each other. The security light illuminates when that signal gets broken, even just for a second. When the signal breaks, the car misinterprets this as an attempt at theft and goes into antitheft mode. The car thinks its being stolen or hotwired because it is not getting that signal from YOUR specific key. This is why the security light turns on and shuts down your vehicle. This link explains it pretty well.

Perform the re-learning procedure
Start the engine (the vehicle has now learned the Sensor Data Code and/or password).
