My 2008 HHR's radio and remote. Everything seems to work fine when the weather is hot, but when the weather gets cold, only the left front tweeter works and the remote does not work. Any suggestions?

there's a broken circuit board, when its hot the board expands to make contact, when its cold it shrinks losing contact. understand that you may not be able to see them, but they are there. If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/david_4c166ba81493f541

2008 HHR at 30 MPH the temp meter reads in red area, 45 mph reads normal?

Check the electric radiator fan, if vehicle heats up at low speed then it sounds like the fan is not working! at high speed the air going through the radiator cools the engine. Check the fan out! God-Bless! Hope this helps you. or check to see if you have a bad fuse for the fan or relay is bad and will not turn on fan.

After head gasket replaced 2008 2.2 ecotec hhr smoking badly any body

What color smoke white means coolant, blue means oil, black means burning too much gas. Who did the head gasket? Check for oil in the coolant. This could mean a bad head gasket install or a cracked block. If you have blue smoke you have worn piston rings

Where can I find the radio fuse for my 2008 Chevrolet HHR

The fuses should be located in bcm. The bcm access panel should be on the right side of center console. The wiring diagrams were with and w/o amp. I didn't know which one you had. bcm radio fuse-ro2wwa544o4fmhiuvvmipigf-5-0.jpg

My 2008 Chevy HHR shifts hard from 1st to 2nd and will not go into overdrive

The first thing I'd check is the level of the transmission fluid. Make sure the vehicle is level, and is up to normal operating temperature. Check It while it is running. If it's low, there's your problem. If it's okay, then you may need to change the transmission fluid and filter. The transmission filter is similar to a filter on an A/C unit. Like a screen to catch the junk in the fluid. It's located inside the transmission pan on the bottom of the vehicle. If you do it yourself, make sure you use the right type of transmission fluid. Filters and fluid are relatively inexpensive to replace.
With all of that being said, all of that information was for an automatic transmission. Not for a standard transmission. If your transmission fluid level is okay, and doesn't need changing. Take heart, that doesn't mean you're looking at a complete transmission replacement either.

Where is the coolant censor 2008 Chevrolet HHR

It appears to be on backside of engine block. Two wire connector, wire colors, tan and yellow. No 1 is electrical for that sensor. I realize the picture isn't the best. coolant-censor-2008-chevrolet-hhr-nkpycwjfvjnvucqrtew4znab-3-0.jpg
