well first find a priest... oh wait just kidding.... you need to locate the power relay for windows and replace it... it is located on the fuse panel which i have recently learned is likely located in the trunk on a bmw.

Hi my name is adam. By what you are describing to me is that your new 2008 BMW won;t start. Correct? My suggestion is to take it back to the dealer and have them look at it. It's only one year old. It should not be doing that.

not the same year but should be same place.

When did you last replace fuel filter? Check and replace it.
Check fuel pressure if you have the equipment.
Possible causes of your problem are fuel filter or possible fuel pump that is going out.
If you have a code scanner (they are relatively cheap now) pull the codes and see what you get.
Many shops will read the codes for free or cheaply.

I would check the key hole on the drivers door, and make sure that it is the "neutral" position I know this worked on a friends 328, her key hole was sticking slightly to the unlock position causing the same problems that your having, there is a sensor in there that when you insert the key and turn it to the unlock position and hold it for a sec or so it will open all the windows and unlock all the doors

1. check your fan belt, if your fan belt is in the normal position and no problem.
2. check your compressor and also check the clutch, it is locate right in front of the compressor, when you turn on your air conidition, the clutch should be turn with the fan belt. If it is not, that means your compressor had problem.
3. check fuse.
4. check the freon small flow window see if the lique bubbling too much, if it is means you need fill up R-12 freon.
5. you probably can not do it yourself, in case if you need freon and your compressor is completely empety, you need a special tool to **** the air out first and than fill up freon.
6. if your air condition is leaking,and you have to fill up a can of special check leaking freon with red colour first, until you find the leaking parts, fix it then you can fill up freon

Idle speed is not adjustable, it is controlled by the fuel injection computer, even if you tried to adjust it the computer would over ride any adjustment made by you. I assure you idle speed has negligible affect on fuel consumption

Start in the rear; test the battery first; then if all is well turn the key to the '0' key position and test all compotents that should work if all is good there, turn to try to start, if not nothing clicks or turns over then remove the starter and bench test it or take it to Auto Zone...if you have time, check the oil stick for water..Just go ahead and change the oils after you remove the spark plugs...never crank a engine that may have sucked water thru the air filter!!!

I bet the problem can be corrected by installing a new or repaired Transmission computer

there will be holes in the door that the locating pins go through, underneath the the trim, best thing to do is to take them off and get them sprayed the same colour of the car.

Sounds like a voltage problem. Did you Jump it? You may have fried a diode or two in the circuit. Car computers relies on voltage feedback to check components for correct operation and calibration. If the voltage is thrown off the computer will trip service codes as it thinks there is a problem, like a chain reaction.

I would first check the hood switch. They are plastic and tend to break or come loose. It is located near one of the cabin filter housings, I can not remember which one. It has a small rod that sticks up about 1/2 inch and has a two pin connector. Just disconnect it. Good luck.

it is possible that the rain sensor (if equiped) is the issue. if not equiped, then i would be more apt to replace the relay. it is located under the hood, under the passenger side cabin filter box, beige in color. fairly inexpensive.

Turns out it was the ignition switch (Various lights and radio)and clock spring (air bag light). Both were simple replacements with common hand tools. Simply go to youTube and watch any of the number of videos. Clock spring took me 20 minutes to replace. The ignition switch 45 minutes. Just remember to unhook your battery before you begin.

The best repair manual is from Bentley Publishers. It is expensive but you might be able to find a used copy at eBay or in classified.You should join Bimmerforums.com and Bimmerfest.com to find free help for whatever you need to fix.

• Replace rear pads and wear sensor.

Hold milage reset til you see test then toggle through it pro forms test and resets. Check YouTube for further info

those rubber mounts on the driveshaft.....replacement them. sometimes called guibo joints.

wheel speed sensor, believe the front right or driver rear, one of those two, they're different, and not interchangeable---the fronts and rears.....both fronts are the same and both rears are the same but the front are not the same as the rears. There is 4 of them btw.
