2007 Dodge Caliber SRT4 Hatchback - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Where is the fuel pump relay for my 2007 dodge caliber
The fuel pump relay is on the driver's side in front of the tire. You have to remove the bumper to get to it. Easily replaced once the bumper is off. Two minutes at the most. It's the one not in a row.

There are a number of causes for seeing the ETC light illuminated, but what they boil down to are basically a problem with engine idle speed control.
You could try cycling the key from off to on three times (leave ON) to use the code-read feature built into the vehicle's electronics. It's not always reliable in that it won't show 1-trip failures and often omits ALL codes even when it runs... which often takes several attempts. Leave your car doors shut for the procedure since
door ajar messages will often take precidence over the code-read feature, which will be shown in one of the VFD displays in the instrument cluster.
While it's a bit early to condemn the electronic throttle body itself, if you happen to have close to 100,000 miles on the car you may have simply worn the ETC out. I replaced one last week at that mileage mark and just had to disassemble it to find out what happened for my own information.
The ETC uses plastic gears between the throttle shaft and gear-reduction assembly that comes off the electric motor and they simply wore out at the most-often used portion of their travel... near idle/ closed throttle. One of the things I'd noticed different about this ETC before disassembly was that the blade had a "dead spot" in it as pushed open by hand. Instead of a smooth transition from closed to an open position, there was little effort required to move it in the first 5% of its travel which accounted to the extreme wear found between the gear teeth at the reduction area. If you can reach the ETC blade (no small feat), push it open by hand while evaluating how smoothly it works especially from the start... you may need an ETC which runs a little over $300 with no gaskets required.

How to change out the fuel pump on 2007 dodge caliber
Easy!! Pull back seat out,,Tap retaing ring out with dull chisel and hammer,,Unhook lines,,Lift out pump (theres gas in it so tip it so the gas pours back into he tank)
Extra tip: BEFORE putting the new pump in,hook up the terminal and turn the key on to hear the pump run for 2-3 sec AND check that the sending unit is making the fuel gauge work!
Also be sure the retaining ring is tapped all the way in ,should be some marks on it. Likley you will spill a little gas around the tank too.

How to replace cluth 2007 dodge caliber 1.8
A Chilton/Haynes repair manual that covers your car will lead you through the procedure. After you see what's involved and the tools/equipment necessary, you may well decide to have a shop do it. As a side note, I'd replace all the components (pressure plate, throout bearing etc) and have a new ring gear pressed onto the flywheel as well. As long as you're going this far into the car, may as well replace ring gear since wear on it can cause starters to have a shortened life.

Why is my exhaust is making noise and consuming more gas..??
my guess, is car has muffler explosions,
a mech, can tell that in and instant. , never here.
but this means, engine is running bad, RICH< and there is an
exhaust leak (air leak) that adds Air + fuel to the muffler and bam, back fire. or simular sounds
but i cant hear it so,, wild guessing and will be wrong most times.
