Hood release cable out from hood latch

from under the car you will need to get up to where the actual catch mechanism is located, from there you should be able to manually release the hood, it may take some effort , but there will be access, although limited... if there is part of the cable accessible grab it with vice grips and pull, hood should release. if not you'll have to find the part on the catch itself that the cable connects too and pull it to release.

760 sedan scratch

It depends on how deep the scratch is. If it's shallow and only into the clear coat, it can generally be buffed out with compound and you'll never see it. If it's deep to the touch and goes into the paint to where you can see metal or undercoating the you will have to have it sanded down, smoothed out and repainted.

A Five cylinder low speed

There are two ways to solve this homework problem. If you want full credit, you will solve it using integral calculus as your teacher most likely expects. I am WAY too many years out of engineering school to remember how to do that.
The simple solution takes advantage of the fact that speed is scalar that is presented in units of distance over time, so all you need to know is the total distance traveled over a fixed interval of time.
The stroke is 63 inches and the engine makes 123 complete revolutions in a minute.
123 x 2 x 63 = 15,498 inches per minute average piston speed or 1,291.5 ft/minute
or 14.676 miles per hour
This must be a steam engine.
If your teacher is picky about significant digits, don't forget that the original problem had only two significant digits so the answer you give should have only two significant digits.
When you finish your math homework, your punctuation and capitalization could use some work...

I need to know how

HI there hear is step by step on how to replace spark plugs this is on bmw 740 put its the same thin

First, remove the main shroud and then using a screw driver the two flat square covers that will reveal the bolts that hold the plastic head covers:

sp01.jpg

Unscrew the two bolts and then remove the plastic cover. You will see this:

sp02.jpg

Next, remove the two bolts that hold in the coil that sits over the spark plug (geez, this really is this easy):

sp03.jpg

Unplug the coil by moving the metal clip that holds the plug in up all the way and then pulling out the plug. Here is a picture of the removed coil:

sp06.jpg

And a picture of all the removed coils from one side and the cover:

sp04.jpg

Here is a picture of the head with the coils removed. Note the pooling of oil especially to the right at the plug closest to the firewall. Must have some head gasket failure action going on here:

sp05.jpg

Here is a look at the coil from the spark plug side -- just a spring that pushes on the plug -- just slides over it easy as pie. NO connecting -- Geez this is too easy:

sp07.jpg

Picture of the head with 1 spark plug removed:

sp08.jpg

Picture of the removed plug. Not to bad -- some white sut. Note the oil in the threads -- this happened when I removed the plug and the pooled oil hit the threads:

sp09.jpg

These are the plugs I went with -- Bosch Platnum +4, part #4417. I got them from Autozone. They have something like a 3 Trillion mile warranty or something. They were $5.99 per -- came to $48.00 for the set. I ain't nevah spent much more than $1.29 for a plug so this was something new for me:

sp10.jpg

Some looks at the plug:

sp11.jpg

sp12.jpg

Put the new plugs in (with proper anti-seize on the threads) and then slide the coil down over the plug, plug in the plug to the coil and then bolt down the coil. Plug #1 done:

sp13.jpg

Do all 8 and you are done! Boo yaaaaaaaahhhhhhh.

Now -- Funny shot. What's wrong with this picture:

2003 BMW 325i. It stalls out at idle or when drive it just shuts off. Replaced PCV system and spark plugs and coils. Now what, same problem it's wearing out my starter?

Question edited for clarity. changed your Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) into Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV), and added some punctuation to make real sentences. Your car is run by computers, the computers have diagnostics and will tell you what's wrong. You can't guess faults like you have. A Professional Grade Scan Tool computer can diagnose all the computers, modules, sensors and systems in about 40 minutes. It can even record what happens and what goes wrong as you are driving! https://www.google.com/search?q=mobile+auto+electrician+near+me ..

How can I get the HDC to turn off in my 2002 bmw x5?

To turn off HDC on a BMW, all you have to do is press the HDC button located on the center console. The button will have an image of a vehicle going downhill with a speedometer above it, and you'll know it's off if there are no lights illuminated above it. If you ever want to turn the system on again, just press the button again.

2003 BMW X5 4.4 no crank no start

Check the basics first. Is battery fully charged? This is the most common reason for a no crank, no start. What exactly does it do when you turn the key? Nothing at all, no lights, no 'click' as you turn the key. A slow lazy crank?
