I have a 97 ford explorer that wont start, battery has 12.83 amps starter works silanod is fine, it just clicks when I hit the key.

replace the cable between battery and starter check the ignition and circuit wire to the solenoid a battery can have 12.83 volts and no cranking amps what is the alternator input

My 94 Explorer with 4.0 engine won't idal when cold start up

Either your throttle position sensor or idle air control valve is shot try stepping on the gas while starting if the engine races then you can bring the rpms down then it stalls the throttle position sensor is N / G because the contact in the idle spot is worn out from regular use and the sensor needs to be replaced ///if you can't do this the idle air control valve is shot

95 ford explorer od fuse amp value

Its hard to say but I can tell you this its not a fuse all fuses have a # on the back that is the amperage 5 10 15 and color coded use the same color fuse . From what you said I would look at the switches that control the shift mechanism on the side of the transmission .What it dose is tell the computer what gear the vehicle is in . Its is also called a ware part because every time you move that you shift it moves to a different contact point .I would start their

Where's the car horn 2000 Ford Explorer XLT?
