Since no one else has answered I will add an answer. Having owned a 1988 Ford diesel (long gone) I occasionally read about diesel problems. There was a sensor on newer models which I believe was a crankshaft position sensor that was a lot of trouble. Even the replacement part was not perfected and there was third generation of the same part that had a different color plastic that was finally a good part. Can't say whether it was the grey or black plastic housing that was the good one, but the color of the part made the difference. Only in the industry do the coding of the Engineering changes show up. Sometimes the suffix has a code letter and an early part may be an "A" and a re-engineered part would then be a "B" or further letter...C,D, etc. I used to be a Ford parts guy that supplied the Dealers. Sometimes it pays to talk to the Dealer parts guys because they hand the replacement parts to the mechanics to install and the parts guys know what they reorder and restock. Your defect codes should be systematically eliminated.

You have a short some where,

some times after new brakes are put on they will tind to squeak. Try going 100 miles and see if they stop if not take bake to ford and explane agian.

seems that taillights and dash lights are on the same circuit, they did that years ago so that if your dash lights went out you knew that you had no taillights, chech the grounds for the taillights, and check for voltage at the socket, from there its a search for broken wires

behind left side of dash, postion F 7 fuse is a 10 amp. hope this helps.

im not exactly sure but i think theres the two thats visible on the other side of the mirror and the one thats in a round cut out in the same area have a look at the new mirrors to see were the screw holes are. it should be a triangle shape screw pattern

there is no switch for the passenger airbag. it is activated by a weight sensor in the passenger seat. if it senses over 50 pounds in the passenger seat it will then turn the passenger airbag on

check stablizer bushing and bushing for lower and upper control arms. look under front and have someone rock the steering back and forth look for movements in all parts of front end. good luck
