Take out the 30th fuse from SB42, in the instrument panel fuse box for 30 seconds and then reinstall. This will reset the control module. I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/kim_3202917d7c587455
Check & replace if necessary the brake pedal switch placed above pedals on the support. If the problem still occurs you might access the ESP & ABS ECU (Electronic Control Unit) using diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector of the car, in order to pull out all DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) memored. Then you will be able to replace bad piece(s) and fix the problem by erasing all DTC stocked inside ESP & ABS ECU & reset it. I'm convinced that your brake pedal switch is faulty because the glow plug warning light went ON, flashing and you can not take your ignition key out. Just replace the brake pedal switch, see if rear stop lamps light when press the brake pedal, and test the car on the road. Two sensors are provided for engine starting authorization: The first one is placed on the automatic gearbox shift selector electronic module, which send a signal to the ignition switch barrel only if the shift knob is placed in park - "P" position, or in neutral - "N" position. Only now you can take out the ignition key from the ignition switch barrel. The second one is the brake pedal switch placed above brake pedal in the pedals bracket, which send a signal to the ignition switch barrel only if the brake pedal is depressed. Only now it is possible to cranking the engine by the electrical starter motor.
The first question will be why are you selling it and the second question will be can I see your maintenance records. I love Audi but they are expensive when it comes to some repairs. Therefore if it is a dealer you are buying from ask about the warranty, if a private seller then you can purchase a warranty. I would go to a trusted mechanic and ask him to give you the names of a few warranty companies that offer good service. Also I would like to get a second opinion on the car from that same mechanic if any doubts linger about what you are buying. Also you may purchase a vehicle histiry report from Auto Check or a company like that. They will give you a report of any accidents etc. on the car. Hope this helps.
The DPF is designed to be self-cleaning to a certain extent if the engine is run for a good length of time the deposits should burn off. I would kick up a fuss with Audi about the warranty, ask them to show its exclusion. Unless the DPF has become physically damaged by something you have done then they need to have it fixed as it is a result of the deficiency in their design. This is not like some damaged tyre, open to abuse by the driver, the DPF is integral to the vehicle operation and through no commission on your part it is not functioning as it should.
16619 -Engine boost condition - Limit not reached. Check intake hoses/ connections for leaks. Check Turbo charger waste gate regulating valve/ waste gate working correctly. Must move freely when accelerating, won't achieve full boost if waste gate sticking open. Check Turbo impeller turning freely, oil feed pipe for turbo can get blocked causing impeller to seize. Engine compact, not easy to access these components.
Drill a tiny hole in the lense , where the water is gathering take lense piece out let dry ,fill hole with small amount of silicone rubber, clear, walmart has it in hardwear/paints .
yes you can go for that ha bare engine, that would be better , audi wants to replace that cause it may cost you all most same to repair it, so they want to replace it with new bare engine.
