07 audi a4 audi concert radio stuck in safe mode 2

The following is the procedure to re-activate the radio if the display shows "SAFE". It is important that the procedure be followed in the correct order. 1. Turn on radio. The radio display shows "SAFE". 2. Press the FM2 and RDS buttons simultaneously and hold until "1000" shows on the display. Release the buttons. Do NOT press these buttons again, otherwise the radio will consider "1000" to be the code. 3. Use Preset buttons 1 ... 4 to enter the four-digit code number from your radio card. Preset button 1 corresponds to the first digit, Preset button 2 corresponds to the second digit, etc. Each press of the button increments the number by 1. 4. Once the code shown on the display is correct, press the FM2 and RDS buttons simultaneously and hold until the word "SAFE" appears in the display, then release the buttons. 5. The radio should unlock and be usable shortly afterwards. 6. If an incorrect code is entered, the word "SAFE" appears, first flashing and then continuously. You can repeat the above steps to unlock the radio once more, the number of attempts will be shown in the display. If an incorrect code is entered again, you radio will be locked for about one hour. After one hour - the radio must stay on and the key must remain in the ignition lock - if the display goes out, the you can repeat the above procedure to unlock again. The cycle - two attempts, one hour lock-up - still applies. 7. If you lose your radio code, contact your Audi dealer.

Currently experiencing turbo coming and going on my 2091 audi tt

I'm assuming here that you are familiar with driving turbo engines. What do you mean by 'coming and going'? Are you losing boost as your driving or is it not building pressure as you accelerate? This sounds like it might be a 'boost' leak issue. This could be anything from a loose pipe clamp, a faulty wastegate set up to an actual turbo issue. Give the turbo set up a basic check. Check all of the pipes and clamps to see if any are loose, split or damaged. A hole or leak in the system can cause pressure loss especially at higher engine speeds. Is the turbo making any strange noises? Get a helper to rev the engine up to 3000 rpm and hold for 3 or 4 seconds and back to idle. Listen for grinding, hissing and rattling noises. Hissing at a steady engine speed suggests a pressure leak. grinding and rattling suggests a faulty turbo. I would suggest taking it to a turbo specialist as this sounds like it will need to be tested 'under load'.

1992 audi 500sel trunk lock not responding to the key or remote?

I'm assuming yours is a South African model? Try the simple stuff first. Check the battery in the remote is ok, (Does it work for the doors?). Using the Key manually in the lock should open the trunk as it's an old style 'lock and key'. Check the key slot isn't clogged with dirt or rust. Give it a generous squirt of releasing fluid, (WD40, GT85 or similar). leave it for an hour to soak in then gently work the key left and right to release it. There could be a blown fuse but I don't know which one it is as some vehicle features share a fuse. Has anything else on the car stopped working? Things like the interior light or the cigar lighter? This could be a clue as to which fuse has blown.

Audi A4 2.0T ALT engine number location 2006 model I am looking for the engine number I want to make a clearance at the police for registration purpose

The Engine code stamp on any engine is a pain in the tailbone to find! I think that engine has it positioned on the end of the engine where the pulleys and belts are. It's tucked behind the alternator belt on the right side near the water pump housing. There is a good chance there will be loads of pipes and cables in the way to make it a pig to find and see. I've attached an image as a rough guide to where it might be.

How do I remove the half moon dash piece that goes over the instrument cluster on a 2009 Audi Q7. The leather cover has come loose and is peeling off.

If there are no screws or bolts visible where the curved edge meets the dials and display, you might need to remove the display the 'half moon' sits over. If this isn't possible there's a good chance the dashboard is a 'One Piece' unit meaning the entire dash will need to come out to repair the leather seam.

How do i change the brakes on my 2004 a4 audi

If you don't know how to start a job like this your safest method is to pay a good mechanic to do it for you. Describing how to do it would take too long writing it down.

Where can I find a seal repair/replacement kit for my 2011 Audi A4 Quattro 2.0T, 6 speed. I need the Rack and Pinion Kit. I have the (opt.1N3) And the (B8) Model I believe.

You can often buy seal kits directly from the rack rebuilders. But be aware that when a rack leaks, it's usually more than just the seals. There's usually metal wear on the rack itself, so a new seal kit usually fails right away.

Audi tt 2002 right side dip light not working after changing the bulb !!!!

With a test light check to see if there is voltage at the connector buttons. If so you may have a faulty bulb. If not, test the feed wire to the bulb. If it has voltage then make sure the system has a good ground. If no voltage then follow the wire back to its source .
