It sounds like a fuse problem. have you checked the fuses yet? If not, look in your owners manual to see which fuses, and where they are, are related to the electrical outlets you are refering to. If you cannot tell by looking at the fuse if it is blown, use a voltmeter set to continuity. Hope this helps

It is the stabiliTrak. Press it once to turn off traction control. If you press and hold for a few seconds, it will disable stabiliTrak. It should automatically turn back on the next time you start the vehicle up.

It sounds like you have a bad wire harness from your ignition lock to your electrical distribution box. Or the distribution box my have a short in it or where the wire harness clips on to it.
This is common sign to a faulty wire harness with damages causing the voltage to jump from one to another function through out your trailblazer.

are you reading your rpms right....5-6000 rpms should equal 70- 85 mph....that is certainly not idle speed....invest 20bucks in a Haynes manual----it is good reading
