I have a 2007 Chevy Impala, I cant get it out of park. I drove it today and when I can home and parked it nothing unusual happened. So when I went to leave again. I started the car no problems, went to shift it and I couldn't push the button in to move the shifter (Yes foot was on the brake). So I turned the car off and set the alarm, then turned the alarm off, just to make sure it didnt have anything to do with the alarm. I put my foot on the brake then started the car and still was stuck.. Please help!!
you have to take off the plastic all around the gear shifter. You can wedge a screw driver carefully around the edges and pry the plastic off then there is a screw on the shifter take that off and slide the top off and then take off the rubber until the whole shifter is exposed then you will see in the cavity on the right side a little metal round tab on a spring that you have to push in with a screw driver and it will release the shifter. Good luck

2007 Chevrolet Impala LT front speakers not working
Hello! Whether your vehicle is premium or standard the wiring is almost the same...Both have a Left front Speaker and a Left Front Tweeter...You did not specify which speaker (Left Front ) wasn't working; However it really doesn't matter...Either the speaker is blown or the wiring has a poor connection or is broken (open)...Here are the wire colors...LF Door=Tan (+) and Gray (-)...
LF Tweeter=Tan (+) and Yellow (-)...The Yellow and Gray are tied together...Pop the speakers out using a thin blade screwdriver with the end taped...Visually inspect...If you have an ohm meter read across each speaker if good=2-8 ohms...If bad =open or 0 ohms...Guru...Saailer

my 2007 chevy impala windshield wiper dont work but the motor is running, what do i do?
Your wiper arm that is connected to the wiper motor under the plastic where you remove the wiper arms has come off or broken or the wiper motor is striped out the arm is good and simply need a new motor. You will have to remove the cover under the wiper blades it is as wide as the front of the car. Look under it to see what is actually going on. These are not very complicated repairs and can be done by a novice person. if you need further help please ask me i can send diagrams threw my home email if you think you need it. It is a pretty simple procedure. Also Please remember to rate my solution and leave testimonial this is how i earn my achievements Thanks in advance. .

how to fold down rear seat in 2007 impala to replace rear speakers?
there are no latches to pull.
Look in your manual to see if the seat does come down, and how to do this. If not remove the bottom half of the seat by pressing the seat torward the trunk and lifting. Then you will be able to access the bolts to remove the back rest portion of the seat. However some times you can replace the speakers through the trunk.

is there a fuse fot the windshield washer pump on a 2007 chevy impala and if so where is it
there is a fuse for the windshield washer pump. It is located in the under the hood fuse box.The fuse is near the bottom marked WSW. Look in the manual for fuse box (under hood) I read that Chevy recommended repacing the 10 amp fuse with a 15amp. There are spare fuses in the bottom of the fuse box(labeled in the manual) and there is a 15 amp. I changed mine in 3 minutes and now it works. Hope I helped.

how to replace oil filter adapter gasket on a 2007 impala
Remove Front Right Side Wheel and Plastic well Covers Remove Drive Belt From A/C Compressor Undo The 3 bolts Holding the A/c Compressor To the Block Then You Can Locate The Three Bolts Holding The Adapter to the Block If you Have Not Done So Drain All The Oil from the Car (I suggest Draining the Oil By Taking Filter Off Not By The Drain Plug) That Way You Still Have A tiny Bit Of Oil Still In The Pan Remove The Adapter And Gasket Clean Both Faces To Ensure New Gasket Seals Right Then Place New Gasket and Reattach Adapter and The Bolts Followed By The Filter Then Re assemble the As Compressor And So on remember to check That all Bolt Are tight God Bless and Good Luck

my power driver seat will not move foward but it will go backward
The seat has a transmission to move the seat up, down, foward , & back. Screw jacks adjust the seat up & down. Cables move the seat forward & back. The cable it seems had to break or the end of the cable has rounded out. Possibly the cable rounded out the seat it rides in the transimission housing too. You will need to remove the seat to find out
