My speedometer quit working on my 2008 Jeep Liberty which sensor is that exactly to fix it

Doesn't have to be a sensor , could be other thing's . Does the vehicle run good ,transmission shift good ? Take an have a full vehicle scan done at a qualified repair shop. The instrument cluster has a microprocessor inside which can store DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes which mite tell you what's wrong . The gauge it self could be bad . Could have DTC'S stored in the BCM - body control module . The VSS - vehicle speed sensor is a input to the PCM - engine computer ,the PCM sends the speed info to the instrument cluster over the C.A.N . serial data network (bus) . Lot's of places for the info. to get lost . So , do yourself a favor an take it to a qualified repair shop.

2008 Jeep Liberty does not crank. Dash lights come on. Door locks do not respond to RKE. Tried second key, but will not start.

Automatic transmission ? Try moving the gear selector to neutral . park neutral safety switch ,maybe. If placing gear selector in neutral doesn't do anything , looking at a wiring diagram to see what all is involved in the starting system . Do you know what a wiring diagram is ? Free diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter vehicle info. year , make , model an engine size . Under system click on engine ,then under subsystem click on starting . Click the search button then the blue link .Do you know what a relay starter is , what a totally integrated power module is ? The starter control is controlled by a control module (computer )

My blower will not turn

It can be the motor, the fuse, or the wiring. I doubt it is the control panel. There are diagrams at the link below, but they are incomplete and do not show the blower fuse. Look for the blower fuse in the box under the hood. If the fuse is good, jump power directly to the blower pins to see if it runs. If it does, and the fuse is good, then start checking the wiring. http://www.revbase.com/BBBMotor/Wd/DownloadPdf?id=155186

2008 jeep liberty mileage error

You need to take it in to the dealer and have the code that is stored when it says error read with a scan tool. No the cluster will not need to be replaced, repaired maybe, but wait until the testing is done.

I have an 08 Jeep Liberty that has a remote

Sounds like you have a key without the chip in it. Replacement keys without the chip will only unlock the doors and will activate the theft alarm when you start the vehicle.

I'm getting a flashing warning lite a lightning bolt in parenthesis and my 2008jeep liberty is running rough I'm also getting a traction control lite I don't wantdamage it's surging ....,any suggest

why post lacking a photo. 1zillion cameras, and nobody can use one. why? RTM ever heard if reading the manual the oper guide told you what that magic lamp means. but you lost it. NAH its still here, ill not read it or try to guess what words convey icons, sad. no? it also says on every page , to Get car serviced fast. is that not clear? 2 choices, get car serviced, or learn to... the latter takes reading. and more. lots more...including safety. page 6 below, my guess is electronic throttle BAD>! http://owners.mopar.ca/en/ warn-sb45rmbgnq3k5u2zyfp0yvmq-3-0.jpg 4 down, 3rd from left, THAT?

2008 Jeep Liberty Starter Issue

cant figure out your post at all ! "When my car will not start it only growls & never roars/never turns over." it either cranks robustly nor not then and only the can it start, run cranks starts runs or maybe stalls the dealer can fix it , if you demo it and it works. its not broken then. if it cranks correctly every time ,say so that is a failed engine start. if engine stalls, say so. if rpm on the engine is real low, too low, say so. the word turns over means nothing, Im sorry 1/2 say, it means cranking other 1/2 means its running, the order is cranks, starts, runs , and keeps running or stalls. btw if it stalls, its needs a tuneup' get one in last decade, (sparks filters) my guess growls is starter sounds so if it starter works try cranking with throttle wide open this is super secret unflood mod. it cuts fuel and clears flooding. Good engines that fail to start are bad spark plugs flooding starving for fuel. we discount them 1 by one until. bingo

My auxiliary makes a whining noise on the radio on my 08 Jeep Liberty.Any ideas?

auxiliary now that really begs, a real NOUN. really all things attached to and engine could be called auxiliary. P./S AC ALT idler there. I guess he means the ALternator and all ALT's do that,it's a 3phase alternator, with diodes that rectify these pulsed to pulsating DC, (noise) the battery sucks up most this noise.. fact. if one diode in the Alt SHORTS,OR OPENS,then NOISE GOES BALLISTIC, I'm a radio man ( MIL and others) car radio ham radio cb radio. as you rac the engine ,the noises , a whine increases in tone. tell you its ALT. if ALT is OK on a SCOPE then we add high pass filter to the radio power lead. there are 2 paths here power (conducted path) and antenna (radiated path)
