Hi Tony,
Model Hyundai Sonata 2.0L
As follows check the following:
Fuel pressure - should read around 3.4 bar
Cylinder Compression Test 12.7 bar
If the above is correct - remove and clean the following components
1. TPS
2. EGR Valve
3. Throttle Body
4. IAT sensor
5. MAF sensor
Clean the connectors and parts with carburetor cleaner
make sure that the wiring is not damaged, also check inside the connectors for any oxidation or carbon build-up.
When cleaning the throttle body, make sure that the butterfly fully opens and closes when turning it by hand, thus cleaning it while doing so.
If all of the above are cleaned, next step will be checking for any leakages on your intake pipes, air box for vacuum leaks.
Make sure the air filter box and connecting pipes aren't perished or broken.
Remember to be careful cleaning the MAF sensor, do not touch the filament part by hand
Let me know if the above helped.
Regards
Rick

Hi, the problem code p0011 - Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP), intake/left/front bank 1 - timing over advanced / system performance
Thus being either the CMP Actuator, Valve Timing is incorrect, or Engine Mechanical Fault
Would it be okay if I mixed green anti-freeze with
You have two options. A ..drain coolant, flush your system, add pr oper coolant or b...buy universal coolant and add it. Its preferred that if you don't buy premixed coolant, use distilled wate r to mix with it.
My remote starter is dead
factory or aftermarket.
the factory remotes have a huge list of reasons , not to start.
its in the operators guide and for sure in the FSM book.
the factory remotes are very strict, all things must be right or it is disable. (vast safety issues )
even on some, if the doors are not locked, it's defeated,
RTM do read the manual on your car.
lost the operators guide, the dealer has them and online.
more reasons?
sure, in the FSM it covers this.
one is ERRORs from the PCM (engine brain).
Can i put smaller tire size on my car
yes you can but you need to find a tire that will have the same diameter or no more than 5% greater or smaller. check this site: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.htmlyou have to be careful to make sure the smaller rim don't touch the caliper.
When i shut off the
Perfectly normal. It would take years to drain the battery with just that little display. If you call the dealer to have it towed you re going to look like the worlds biggest fool
Grinding noise from belt area
Could be the alternator going bad I only say that because there is a wire in the wiring system that is common to the ignition switch , the , alternator , and the transmission as well as the ECU, inhibitor switch, and the TCU. If the alt. bearing going out then I suppose it could cause a short and keep the circuit connected preventing it from shutting off. If you can't turn it off, try disconnecting the positive post of the battery, if it s the alt. was not putting out and I would check it then. At first I was going to say the ignition switch and the starter was staying engaged but you said it was coming from the belt area so that's why I'm leaning towards the alt. and not a tension or idler pulley . They going out would not keep the engine from stopping. If the engine did not stop when you disconnected the alt. then the priority at the moment is to stop the engine. You can do it by going to the panel that has the engine relay and fuses in it. Look to see which is the fuel relay and or fuse and pull it out. It may say fuel pump relay anything along those lines. this will shut your fuel pump off thus the engine will not continue to run and you can further investigate to see if the alt. is able to turn or if it's making a grinding noise when you turn it by hand. Of course you will have to take the belt loose to inspect this and while your at it you may as well check to make sure that none of the other pulleys or water pump is wearing/worn out also.
