Change Manual Transmission fluid

locate the drain plug on the bottom of the transmission. drain the oil into a pan. discard properly. replace the plug. do not over tighten. snug it then give it a good turn. locate the fill plug. usually on the side near the top of the drivers side trans. a fairly large head, screwed into the trans. it might even be marked. determine the type of lubricant you need. the part store will have that info. now for the tricky part. in my experience it is impossible to flll the trans without a hand pump or similar device. you might try running a tube from the fill hole through the engine compartment and attach a funnel. the pump is fairly inexpensive. $15-$20. warm the lubricant in a bath of hot water to aid in pumping or pouring. when the lube starts coming out of the fill hole it's full. you might also want to replace the gasket on the drain plug.

HOW DO I CHANGE THE CABIN FILTER IN MY 2008

This site http://www.hmaservice.com/webtech/default.asp provides the service manual, tech service bulletins (TSB), and more for Hyundai. TSB 03-97-003, Cabin Air Filter, provides the "how to" and filter part numbers. If you own a Hyundai you NEED to visit this site.

If you open your glove compartment you'll see the hydraulic attachment on the right side. You can detach this with a small screwdriver by pushing it off the knob that its hooked to. Be careful it is plastic. Once you do that you can then press in on the sides of the glove compartment to release it and pull it forward or downward. Make sure it is empty first or it will be afterwards. You can then see the for clips that you squeeze together and pull the tray out. Once you have it out then simply squeeze the center of the filter like an accordion with your thumb and index finger to get it out of the tray. Follow these steps in reverse with the new filter and your done.

Why check engine light come on mostly after

Because your vehicle is a 2008 I feel it shouldn't be anything to pressing but still take some precautions.

What alot of people don't know is sometimes if the gas cap is not put on tight enough a little air might get in or your gas pump might have to work a little harder because it can't get full vacuum pressure with the cap slightly open. these are not major issues.

these are reasons why your check engine light comes on. It happened to my 2005 Buick Rendezvou We had the check engine light on for a week. The car never shuttered, stalled, delayed starts it ran perfectly fine. I took it in to check engine light their computer showed that it was the EVAP system which is the heating and cooling system I would have to get it checked for leaks or do a static check for leaks.

This didn't look good but then one day I had done some work for a friend told him of my problem he told me it could be my gas cap. The next day I asked my wife if the gas cap was working on vehicle it actually was broke I replaced gas cap and the check engine light came off.

Now with this story (which is true) don't assume every problem could be this. But if you are not noticing any stalls, delayed starts, shuttering anything out of the ordinary check the cap at times to make sure it is closed.

If you keep on having light on and replaced cap or made sure was securely on then take and get it checked out.

Where do i add the manual clutch fluid?

hi from uk if it is same as earlier models ? then the clutch fluid comes from the brakefluid reservoir too if you look you will/should see a seperate hose leading to clutch master cyl the actual reservoir is divided inside compartment for brake and the other for clutch so if clutch fluid leaks it does not affect the other chamber that feeds brake master cyl so same fluid for both systems just fill to level mark on reservoir
