Strong gas smell inside and

On my 2002 I had the same problem and was caused by the evap system (emissions). The module is located in the back of the car, tucked up right by the back fender-pannel by the fuel filler tube.

2008 hyundai accent rear driver door stuck locked. Won't unlock automatically or manually

You will need to remove the door card and check the lock linkage rod to the door latch, it may have come off, most likely from a broken retainer clip..

check your brake light switch on the brake pedal. See if it has power. Check one side for poer and the other for power while applying the brakes. If it has power its most likely the turn signal switch Brake lights also go thru that switch.

How to change fuel filter in 2008 accent

Ok, so I've searched the endless possibilities of the web; watched video after video; read article after article; searched underneath my 2008 Hyundai Accent from rear to front and back again, to no avail. I finally gave up and called a dealership. Turns out that the fuel filter is located ON TOP of the gas tank. As helpful as the diagram Paul posted is, I can't get to the fuel filter the same way as the pump underneath the back seat. According to the technician I spoke to, I have to drop the gas tank to change the fuel filter. What a pain in the @$&

Hello Monica.,Take it to your local garage and ask them to check out the onboard computer. You can do it yourself often. Just disconnect your battery for 2 mins and then reconnect.. If the same.. the garage., good luck Ray

Here is what I found on P0128 code: - Leaking or stuck open thermostat - Low engine coolant level - Insufficient warm up time - Faulty engine coolant temperature sensor - Engine coolant temperature sensor harness is open or shorted - Engine coolant temperature sensor circuit poor electrical connection When is the code detected? The engine coolant temperature does not reach to specified temperature even though the engine has run long enough. P0128 Hyundai Description Coolant thermostat (coolant temperature below thermostat regulating temperature). Indicates that the thermostat monitor has not achieved the required engine operating temperature within a specified amount of time after starting the engine. I WOULD TAKE IT TO A DIFFERENT REPAIR SHOP, ONE THAT HAS YOUNG MECHANICS THAT UNDERSTAND TROUBLESHOOTING CODES AND SEARCHING YOUR CAR COMPUTER FOR SOFT AND HARD CODES THAT MAY BE RELATED TO THIS CODE.
