Engine light & exhaust red

If youve fixed the issue that was causing the lights to come on. You can cancel them by re moving the negative battery cable first. Then get inside the vehicle and press brake for 30 sec. This will drain remaining juice from computer. Then hook negative cable back up and start. The lights should be off after this procedure.

Will the strut come out

Your truck is not equipped with struts. Do you mean shock absorbers? If this is what you mean then the answer to your question is YES. The shock absorber will come out of the truck without removing the lower control arm.

The lower bolt securing the shock must be removed, then the bracket that mounts the top of the shock must be removed. Then the shock is removed from the upper end through the engine compartment.

We are showing a code P1404 - Exhaust Gas

The EGR on the Ram frequently stick in the partially open position. The dealer stocks them so you know that they aren't fault proof. I did have luck soaking one in a decarboning solvent for a few hours on the bench. The guy never came back (could be a bad thing i suppose). I think it workied out for him however I've changed a few.

Good Luck

What is different these days is the fact that you replace the blade, as well as it's holder, pretty quick. Gone are the days of just rubber replacement.

Check the main wire from the battery to the interior fuse panel. There is a fusible link in the blue wire. Check for power on the other side of that link. Also check your ground wire from the engine to chassis or from the battery to the chassis.

My a/c worked fine at midnight Sat/Sun, Sun

You probably have lost all or most of your freon and will have to recharge the system. A gotcha is that the on board computer has locked your compressor out with a code that has to be cleared before your compressor will operate. This code protects your compressor from operating with less than minimum freon and oil carrier that lubricates the compressor. You can purchase a freon kit at a local parts store for about 25 bucks, but will be unable to put the freon in until you clear that code. Your vehicle probably has to be hooked up to an OBDII reader in order to clear the code. You could search on line to see if you can find a method that would allow you to clear the code with a jumper on the OBDII input connector. Otherwise you may have to have a dealer do the recharge, and they will insist that you fix the leaking problem that could run into hundreds of dollars.

My a/c blows heat on

Mine did the same thing after replacing the batteries. The blend door has to be recalibrated with the diagnostic computer either by the dealer or a shop with the tool to set the body codes and calibration. I wanted to buy one but they are about $8000.
