The VVT sensor is out of range, nothing to do with the timing.

The fuse box is inside the vehicle, under the dash, on the drivers side, at about knee height. It might be hidden behind a small trim cover you unclip and lift off. Try this website. Looks like its behind the AC compressor. And you need you need to remove alternator and compressor to get to it. Its a 5h job.

I'd pull the positive terminal for a brief period and replace with the hopes of clearing it's security troubles

Ok. Open the hood and look along the drivers side fender. You will see a long black colored fuse box top. Open the top and look for the 2nd relay (towards the strut top/windshield) labeled CIR OPN. That is the one you are looking for.

I also have an 2005 ES330. Great vehicle. Drive to an Interstate Battery Centre and get the new battery checked. It is done in car and takes 2 minutes. It compares the CCA stated on the battery to what it is actually producing. They will give you a printed ticket, and the service is free. You may have a faulty 'NEW' battery. I only use Interstate batteries. I bought the car 2007, and am on battery number 2. How did you check parasitic draw? Disconnect the battery, connect an ammeter and pull fuses? Check for silly stuff, hood light, dome light, trunk light staying on. Alternators can be tested if you have a digital multimeter. Hopefully it is a loose connection plug. If he dropped the engine down, he must have disconnected connectors on the wiring harness. Check the modules around the firewall and around the fuse box. Well, the first question is why did you spend all that money swapping out all FOUR of them? Engine Management OBD codes tell you very specifically which one is causing your engine malfunction light to come on. With my ES330, the code showed Bank 1, Sensor 1. That was the one I changed. The sensors are located on both exhaust manifold pipes, one before the Catalytic Converter and one immediately after it, so one you can see in the engine bay, and the other is pretty much under your right heel. There should be no air blowing from the back unless a joint came apart. Next consideration, Fuel/Air Sensors (before Cat) and O2 Sensors (after Cat) come in different qualities.
