this is usually a fault with the master lock , the one that sends signal to the others , usually this is the drivers door lock , to check the master lock will have 5 wires and the "slave" locks only 3 wires , so replacing the master lock , as repairing is not economical or impossible just do a few electrical checks before changing ie check for power to and from lock , earth and wire condition etc

could be a bad battery -- so not enough power for anything to work

You will need a mercedes star machine to trouble shoot the radio normally dealer only

If you have a test light and a helper it is quite easy. Clip the test light to a good ground and with the probe end touch the large post on the starter. The light should light as this is the positive battery cable from the battery. Now touch the small post, there should not be anything there, have your helper turn the ignition to the crank position and the light should light while you are still touching the small post. This will tell you that everything is working as it should and that your starter is not working properly. If you remove it and take it to the parts store they will be able to hook it up to a test machine and confirm that it is bad, but you just did that. Either way, you will have your core in hand and not have to worry about paying a core charge and then returning to the store when you are finished with the job.

Check the ground to head lights.

It is apparent that the wire between the current sensor that the computer monitors and the left brake light socket is open. Thus the computer knows the brake light is not working because it is not drawing current. If you have a wiring diagram, you can probably find the broken wire or bad connection. This may take some time. To get the left brake light working, you can jumper the left brake light socket to the right brake light socket. Warning, this may cause the computer to register the extra current on the right side as a short circuit and shut both off. If that happens you will have to forgo the left brake light until you get the open circuit corrected.

Check fuses, and trailer light relay.

The belt is tensioned with a spring loaded pulley on an arm. To ID this part start the engine and watch the belt go around the pulleys, when you gun the engine the belt tensioner pulley will jitter to adjust the slack.
