07 evnoy denali 5.3 4x4 now is it better to

The 4x4 sytem is smarter than you think. It will adjust it's self for slip conditions and knows when you are in 4x4.

Trust all of my eggheads in Detroit, the know what they are doing most of the time. LOL

Fuel gauge problems

Remove the sender wire from the fuel tank and short it to ground (metal part of tank).

If the fuel gauge goes to full then your sender unit is faulty and replace it.If not ,please come back to me .

Please leave positive feedback if you feel I have helped you.

Thank you

Codes 1682 and 2176 in my gmc envoy denali won't start runs hard

The p1682 code is an ignition 1 control circuit code. The p2176 is related to the throttle body. There is a bulletin fron GM on the wiring being rubbed through on the front drive shaft. Have the shop check there first. The first code sounds like a voltage issue, possible ignition switch. Both may be covered under the 100,000 power train warranty. You should call your dealer first to see. Good Luck

Gas gauge

The float that moves the gas hand is possibly stuck in the tank. If there's isn't an access hole in the rear of the vehicle you'll have to drop the tank. Unless it becomes free on it's own. Hope this is helpful. Please rate. Thanks

Where are the fuses for the auxillary power outlets located?

Hi there;
The fuse you are most likely looking for is in the Instament panel fuse block located in front of your left knee. It is a 20 amp fuse & is simply labled AUX. AUX 2 is for the rear outlet.
There is a fuse block under the hood, the fuse you are looking for is a 20 amp fuse & it is in possition #53 that is for the upper outlet in the front.
hope this helps
Farrout!

My gas cap keeps loosening up on my 2007 envoy denali

Anybody tried rubbing a sticky substance on the "O" ring of the cap? I don't care if it's a candy from a kid, it's worth a try. Clean threads of filler with alcohol real good before too. I'd try taking the cap off, and roughing the threads up with rough sandpaper too, just to give it more bite. Blow threads off good after.
