did you try testing the ecm or ignition module? try out those two for starters.

Close the boot lid..... No, seriously now. It will probably be the sensor that is at fault. Don't know where yours will be. It could be in the lid lock, around the lid or lip of the boot where the lid fits to the boot opening normally under a rubber cover. You may be able to fool the car into thinking it is shut by bypassing the switch. Disconnect the wires to the switch (when you find it) and either leave the 2 wires disconnected (for a switch that is activated by the circuit being open) or connect the 2 wires together (for a switch that is activated by being closed). Try it without connecting together first and if this doesn't work then try connecting them together. Once you find the correct way then wrap in insulation tape to prevent any shorting out. Remember though that this will mean that if you drive with the boot open you will get no indication on the dashboard. Also your boot light may not now work.

Probably you'll say: I already knew that, I expect soe concrete answer, but there is no other answer that you radio is defective and you should take it to a repair service.Now, do you really enjoy AM? With XM, FM and MP3 around, I've not listened to an AM transmission since about 10 years.

Why don't you just ask Volvo service center or have the scan tool used by a chain auto parts store?

get the OBD codes read to give you the fault codes , may be the oil pump has packed up , have you checked the oil level , obvious i know but have to ask

It is pretty obvious from the video that the internal mechanism on the release has broken. This will need internal repairs or replacement of the whole seat by Volvo or a mechanic. Sorry :(

Dont buy the T6. Lots of headaches. Get the 5 cylinder or non turbo 6 cylinder

Get it towed to a shop. Sounds like an idler or tensioner going bad. If it failed you will bend valves and damage the engine badly.

what year is it. if it has the new sensus system there is a software upgrade that your Volvo dealer need to perform

The relay is located in the Fuse/Relay box as shown. You may find that your fuel pump is not putting out the required pressure though.

good luck on this one the timing belt on Volvo is very important & IMHO I would not attempt this as if it go's or not fitted correctly your talking big bill to repair I had my dealer do mine the kit consists of timing belt , adjuster & jockey wheel, & its advisable depending on mileage to change the water pump also to change the aux belt along with its adjuster & jockey & to check free wheeling pulley if on your model & I believe that Volvo say 108,000 miles or 6 years old whatever comes first for this service hope this helps

You have to remove the plastic cover on the valve cover and then you will be able to see the bolts holding the upper mount on. The rest is self explanatory.
