It sounds like the fuse went out. The cigarette lighter fuse is either 2 or 5 in the main fuse box. I would get your vehicle to a workshop

If you have over 80,000mi then you are in need of servicing. This ZF transmission is computer controlled . One of the solonoids is going bad and be sure to replace the mechatronics adapter on the lower valve body. This small and inexpensive plastic adapter will cause a world of problems.
