Have you checked the engine computer for trouble codes ?

Will the vehicle go into gear and drive normally? If it will, the issue is likely in the cluster.

Anything electric that doesn't work can be due to a poor or failed connection, switch, motor, actuator, damaged insulation, etc.; anywhere along the circuit. The easiest thing to do first is to locate the fuse for the circuit responsible for the part that isn't working. A visual inspection may not always tell you if the fuse is good or not - checking with a meter or continuity tester however, is a sure thing. If you don't have one of those - replacing the suspect fuse with a brand new one is one way to be relatively sure power is getting out of the fuse. See if the device works now or if the fuse blew. A fuse that repeatedly blows indicates a problem the will need to be corrected before trying again.

Resetting or erasing the codes can only bring temporary relief, like what u said the remote start worked again. But the trouble will still come back until the real cause is being addressed. You got code on the cam sensor, but car runs fine. Its because the engine computer senses inconsistencies while trying to improve the Emissions system of your vehicle. That we cannot see or hear. Most probably your cam sensor or the wirings are getting intermittent. Better have it visually inspected and replaced if necessary.

could be a number of things . such as switch stuck air flapper or fan motor.

My 2007 Tahoe does the same thing but service traction control comes on then goes into limp mode which you can only drive a max of 5mph i then shut it down start it 2 mins later all is well...I took the air intake off leading into the throttle body and cleaned the throttle body around the butterfly valve and had no problems for 2 months then started again so im thinking the feul filter needs replaced more often than recommended..Thats where im at with this mess right now im gonna clean it again and replace the feul filter and the gas cap and see what kinda results i get...Will update my post with the results from the cleaning and reolacements

Check the radio fuse. As unusual as it seems, GM has started having the radio (even though not turned on) generate the chimes and turn signal sounds. If the radio fails, all the chimes fail too.

This applies to other vehicles besides the HHR. My 2003 Silverado had the door chimes fade down so I could barely hear them. The fix was to replace the radio (under warranty, fortunately...).

It is not worth to mess , trying to adjust it yourself, really. You could waste a lot of time and nerves. Go to an auto body shop and they will re align it properly and it should not cost a lot.

To remove and replace a dash is a six to eight hour job for some one that does this type of work. If you want to do it, I suggest you buy a manual for this. there are bezels to pop off, up to fifty screws, nuts and bolts to remove and the wiring harness that has to be rerouted back in place.

Firstly, you probably bought the wrong new switch. As for the window not working, the window regulator has been known to be a problem. If it was that, you would hear the motor running or trying to run. I would say that since the driver window is the one most used and if you do not hear the motor running, it is probably the lift motor. You still would have to check it because there are other components involved. No matter what, you are going to have to remove the door panel. Good luck, Vinnie

maybe replace vavle seal's they get hard & brittle over mile's. then oil sipps by vavles & burn .

There are two types windshields for that truck,,,, one is standard and one is for auto rain sensing,,, has a little gel pac to the right of the rearview mirror center of windshield, 2" diameter ,,, if you installed the wrong one then it will cause the wipers to do strange things,,,also if the gel pac was damaged or was not replaced it will cause same condition,,, hope this helps

No one knows what anything means, until you check for codes No one would have any idea what anything costs, as you don't have any idea of any actual problem & repair costs only come from the merchant you choose to deal with There is no price, until you pay for diagnostic & testing, to find a problem & come up with a solution I wouldn't have driven it 2 days ago I would have checked for codes first You can get an inexpensive code reader at Advanced Auto for about $60.00 or on Amazon, etc

Hello, if your engine did not have oil pressure , I doubt you could drive it ten miles. I think you should check your oil pressure with an auxiliary pressure gauge. More than likely you might only need a new oil sending unit.

No. The cause of a dim or dark driver info display is a weak/broken solder connection, usually one or more resistors/rectifiers, on cluster circuit board. An electronics repair service that specializes in cluster repair can usually correct this issue and usually at a reasonable cost compared to replacement cost at you local GM dealership. Good luck. If your park assist message is staying on ,,,remove the reciver hitch and ball ,the part that sides in,and out,,,,the sensor on the back of the truck is picking it up ,,,, it worked for me

Just because it runs good is no reason to drive it into the ground. No oil pressure can ruin an engine fast. Hopefuly the reason no oil pressure is the sensor is bad, it's connection is corroded and thus bad. If mine I would take it to a shop and have them actually measure the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge. If no oil pressure that way, you know you have a serious problem. If the mechanical measurement is good, then you know that The sensor is bad, it's connection is bad, or the oil pressure light or ? gauge is bed on the dash panel. Good luck.

If your service engine light is on it wont work,,, disconect the neg cable on battery for a minute or so then reconnect,, see if it works then,,, if the light is off

Need new sensors in wheel,,valve stem,,,, the batterys are only good for 5 to 7 years ,,the ones for your truck are standard brand TS45A,,,check out ebay,,, replace all 4,,,make sure they where made in the last year or 2 and not old stock
