The transmission sticks in park and will not allow

That really sounds like the switch. If it was adjusted but not replaced, it could be a bad switch. When you have this problem, can you see if your brake lights come on? If the lights have a problem at the same time as your shifting/cruise, then that switch is likely the problem.

Volvo xc90 window regulator replacement

You shouldn't have to remove the glass. On most vehicles you can remove the regulator from the bottom of the glass carefully so the glass doesn't drop. Then carefully lower the glass into the door. There are plenty Of YouTube Videos ..even if not for your model vehicle all of the basics are the same.

Motor oil accumulating in tail pipe

Not familiar with this particular model, but this could be a sign of the fuel mixture being too rich. Have you checked or changed your air filter recently? A blocked air filter may cause this kind of problem. After that it could be that your valve stem oil seals are leaking which would allow oil into the combustion chamber and then out of the exhaust. Hope this helps.

Can water make 2007 volvo xc90 not starting

About a dozen things will make your Volvo not start, but they all point to one of three things that ALL must be there to get the engine to start: a) fuel b) air c) spark Based on your question, "water" can be involved in any of these three things and stop the process of internal combustion. Would recommend to check that all of these three things are occurring and that water has not degraded or eliminated any of them. If you just washed your engine bay and now find that the motor will not start - wait and let it dry out. See if you can start it later/then.

Reduced

Just like with auto electrics, always check the grounds.Only with this situation, check the EGR valve.Find it on the intake with vacuum hoses hooked to it.There is a small opening/hole in the top side of the EGR(exhaust gas recirculation valve),wit engine running, use the eraser end of a pincil and push down lightly on the diaphram inside. If engine speed changes,it's good.If engine speed does not change, replace the EGR.You have a hard time climbing a grade if it's bad.Regards,Rigger

I have a Volvo XC90

In the first place the drain on the power amplifier could have been checked as this would have been better than to invest in an second hand amp which was not tested or evaluated.
The drain of the amplifier could have been easily in the power section, in the invertor or the standby circuit. So if you can remove the amplifier and test using an ammeter in series the current drain can be seen. If so you can isolate the circuit by cutting off the voltage to the immediate circuit till the drain stops.
Now the circuit being isolated the semiconductor or the capacitor can be checked. Desoldering the leads to the standby circuit will stop the drain comfirming the fault.
You need to check on the diodes, semiconductors and capacitors which can be the most possible parts.
In the second part paying a large sum for installing the program again is not a pure confirmation that the HARWARE is working GOOD. So you might end up with having a faulty hardware which will not sucessfully load the software.
I recommend that you need to check with the above tips as you have TWO UNITS with you and parts can be easily SWAPPED.
Good luck.
