The sending unit switch is bad or error needs to be reset. The place who performed your last oil change should be able to reset it for you.

have the retain accessory module checked out. It causes this sort of problem sometimes

I miss wired the "starter" output from the remote starter.

most likely and exhaust mounting has come loose, the twisting action of the motor as it is put into gear, or powered up would make it rattle.
An exhaust heat shield come loose would also do this.
