Could the battery be factory bad? Example I bought a brand new fancy video player I had sorround sound DVD ect. Spent all night hooking it up no sound I spent hours... Finally
Gave up and my kiddos wanted to watch cartoons I tried regular video and no sound it was factory broken before I even started so maybe the battery is bad.. Mite take it to

2014 subaru Forester pecking noise when you start engine sounds like a lifter or lack of oil

Could be a lifter that just hasn't gotten oil at the start. If it is a small ticking, it's not a big problem. Often using an oil flush just before an oil change can loosen up sticky lifters. I have also tried a few ounces of transmission fluid in the oil and that has worked with my lifter noise (2004 Suburban).

My 1993 Subaru Legacy engine cut off after the "AT OIL TEMP" light came on. Now when I start it the engine is rough and the noise is different.

That error code is serious - transmission oil has overheated badly, suggesting a problem with the oil level and/or the radiator oil cooling loop or oil radiator core. This can also be caused by breakdown of old oil (this oil needs to be changed at intervals as recommended in your owners manual). You had better check for any trouble codes using a code reader. Given the age of the vehicle, if you have an automatic transmission, the torque converter may have been damaged.

Adjusting headlamp on a 2009 Subaru forester

E: ADJUSTMENT 1. HEADLIGHT BEAM ADJUSTMENT CAUTION: Turn off the light before adjusting the headlight beam level. If it is necessary to inspect the beam level, do not keep the light on for two min- utes or more. NOTE: Before checking the headlight beam level, be sure of the following: • Check the area around the headlight for any scratches, damage or other types of deformation. • Make sure that the vehicle is parked on a level surface. • Make sure that the inflation pressure of tires are correct. • Make sure that the vehicle fuel tank is full. 1) Bounce the vehicle two to three times to normal- ize the suspension. 2) Make certain that someone is seated in the driv- er's seat. 3) Measure the distance between the low beam bulb centers, and the height of the bulb center

2016 Subaru Forester - in the heat the ABS Light comes on / Slippery Conditions as well. Then the car starts to chug and has a hard time accelerating.

Possible that one of the brake calipers may be sticking causing a drag on one wheel. When the abs light comes on the engine goes into a limp mode which will cause the car to run with less power.

Have a short in a 2006 Subaru Legacy runs the battery dead over night. Pulled all fuses and relays, disconnected alternator still there

I'd suspect the battery right off, disconnect the battery overnight and if it's dead in the morning or even just low replace it, Do this even if the battery tested good or is new. If you satisfied that the battery is good feel the starter solenoid after it sat long enough for the engine to cool off if it's warm the hold in coil in the solenoid is shorted, not uncommon. I hope this helps. Take care.
