I belive the speed sensor

take all wheels off the ground use jack stand, start engine up and put car in drive and let it run for about 5 mins, with wheel off the ground it should shift gears better, if it do you to change your transmission filter and oil, VERY IMPORTANT TO CHANGE OIL WHILE IT IS HOT! check oil to make sure no metal is in oil or heavy shavings, if shavings or metal is present you need new tranny, measure the amount of oil you take out put same amount back in, i really dont think you got a speed sensor problem you might have too much milage on your yukon, hay mon sure you service your yukon on time or else ford will excort you home, good luck mon and big up u self

I have a 2007 yukon,

I would check your fuse box under the hood. They have had issues.I would also check the guage operation. You may have to take it the dealer for that, they can sweep all the guages and tell you if they are bad or not.

My 2007 Yukon Denali has

Ok just so you know that service traction control and stabiltrak well come on if there is any check engine light on and if it's running poorly then i have to guess that there is also a check engine light on!! Once there any repairs are done then you would have to clear out the codes in the ECM, traction and suspension in that order!! GOOD LUCK !

2007 gmc yukon will crank

albert tuisa, There are many things that could cause this problem but the first thing that comes to mind is you have a clogged fuel filter. When you first turn your key to start your vehicle a prime signal is sent to your fuel pump. What happens here is the fuel pump is activated for a second or two to build up the proper fuel pressure for the engine. If your fuel filter is clogged a little, this will keep the fuel rail from getting the proper pressure it needs and a second or even a third prime signal is needed to start your vehicle. Replace the fuel filter. Good luck with this.

I HAVE A 2007 GMC

Hello
It sounds like you have a problem with clutch hang up due to worn out gear lube in the Posi- Traction Rear differential, that would be about the only thing I am aware of that could cause this. I suggest you use the truck and support it on jack stands then remove the rear cover (held on by 10 bolts) of the differential and drain the grease out (there is no drain plug), then clean out the case with spray Brake clean and a few old cotton rags. once all the grease is removed and the rear cover is clean wipe down the gasekt surfaces of the rear cover cover and the differential with brake clean, quickly apply a thick bead of Black Silicone RTV form-a-gasket and reinstall the bolts for the cover and torque them to 15 foot pounds with a torque wrench. To refill the differential you will need about 11/2 bottles GM specification G80 gear lube, this is a special gear lube that is just for GM Posi rear ends, you can buy this from the dealer. To fill the Differential up remove the pipe plug on the snout of the rear end where the drive shaft connects, I think it is a 1/2" square drive, with the plug out pump in G80 gear lube until you can just touch the lube level with your "pinky", do not overfill.

Hello on my gmc yukon fan is on at high speed do

There may not be anything wrong.Your computer has control of the fans and it would turn the fans on high to get added air flow across the radiator if idling for a while or if the A/C is on to bring down high side pressures.I know they are loud, but its probably normal opperation.

2007 GMC Yukon gauge cluster not working, doors

I have a 2007 GMC Yukon and all of the guages (speed, oil, battery, etc.) recently stopped working for no apparent reason. The backlight still works but the guages do not. Could this be something as simple as a fuse? What should I do?

My 2007 gmc yukon xl burned a quart of oil from

My first question is, is the vehicle still under factory warranty at 35,000 miles? If it is have it checked out by the dealer. Aside from that there are situations of oil burn that fall into limits by the manufacturer, however, 1 qt every 3000 miles on a vehicle that new seems excessive. Your dealer should be able to provide you with the manufacturers limits as it's stated in the vehicles service manual on your vehicle. But make sure they give you a copy of the page not just hear it by word of mouth. If there are no external oil leaks on your engine then it has to be burning it internally which would mean the only way to find any worn parts would be tear down of the engine to identify them. There are a few things you can try before going to that extreme especially if your truck is running fine. Try a different grade of oil or switch to synthetic oil. Make sure you change all filters, pcv valve and maintenance items as prescribed in your owners manual at the time recommended depending upon your driving habits. Keep it well tuned.
If your dealer said this was a problem they've had similar complaints on there's a possibility there's a TSB (technical service bulletine) out on the vehicle for the problem. Which means the manufacturer is aware of the problem and has given instructions for a procedure to correct it in most cases. Hope that helps.
