2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 Diagnostic code P0442 repair?

Usually this is a loose or improperly sealing gas cap. The code will clear out (iirc requires 3 starts from cold) or get your local autoparts store to clear it for you. Gas cap is easiest and cheapest thing to try. It can also be a leaky evaporation canister, leaky vacuum hose, leaky fuel filler hose...etc. basically as part of the test cycle it checks to see if the evaporation system holds a specific vacuum for a specific time. Yours failed the test.

4.8l, 2wd. What are the probable causes of DTC P0121?

That's an emissions code. It's sucking in too much air. Start with checking for vacuum leaks, air filter may not be sealed, could be idle air control valve, throttle pos. sensor. Many possibilities. Start with the simple stuff, you usually get it from that. good luck.

2007 Chevy Silverado, will go in reverse, but will not go forward? Even when I push on the gas, the truck will not go forward.

You said you hit something. Carefully check the transmission linkage to make sure that it is properly engaging. Crawl underneath and have someone move the linkage while you examine the movement. If something got misaligned when you hit whatever, it is conceivable that the tranny is not properly engaging due to this. Could be a simple fix. Good luck.

4 of the 6 Speakers in my '07 Silverado aren't working. Thought it was the radio so I swapped it out, didn't help/

Probably blown speakers (do you have a teenager?) Access speakers on at a time and you can use a AA battery to test each. Hook up wires to battery and jump to speaker to see if it clicks or moves.

What is the fix for auto door lock on my 2007 chevy silverado engage and disengage while driving on the freeway after the vehicle is warm

Try disengaging the "Auto Lock" feature in the Driver Information System when shifting in/out of Park and at a certain MPH. If that keeps it from doing it, you know the BCM Body Control Module is controlling the action. It could be it "thinks" it's unlocked when it not. May need to replace the power lock assembly. You could also try taking the battery cables off to reset the PCM/BCM. That may fix it too. Worst case, it is the BCM, and they are not cheap. Good Luck!

What does it mean when my truck sputters when I accelerate?

Probably needs a tune up. plug wires, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor. Also change the air filter and fuel filter and crank case filter as well as PCV valve (positive crankcase ventilation valve) this valve scavenges harmful acid deposits or blow by and reburns it and sends it out the exhaust pipe. Examine everything before you buy new if the plugs look good just reset the gap if the wires look good move on to the cap and rotor. you can find images on the internet to look at to compare condition of most parts at least just by look. if that does not do the trick you may have to take it to a mechanic. be sure you tell them all you have done. start with plugs cap and rotor then fuel filter. Check the air filter if you cannot see light through the paper element replace it for sure. the sputter can indicate not enough fuel or insufficient spark to ignite the fuel. spark plugs can do wonders if they have not been changed for a long time. the fuel/combustion deposits rob the spark from jumping the gap which ignites the fuel under higher cylinder pressures. when the spark travels directly to ground without jumping the gap the cylinder makes no power.

Vibrationg and grinding in rear end when turning

If it is a limited slip rear end, it is trying not to slip as you corner and may be grinding itself to death. It can be caused by low oil, water in the oil, dirt or misalignment. You should have the correct fluid on hand before taking off the cover to see how much damage you have.
